name is same with the supplementary cc number you are paying for.

since gov tax is absorbed and annual fee is waived, you may keep it for emergency use if you don't have other cc (or not intended to sign up any new cc).
at the same time, you may also wait to see if this scb cc is offering any new interesting features to your card in the next year.

How do you did it? they rejected said you are NOT one year, yet this is under promotion, therefore you CANNOT cancelled.
when i checked TOC, no such condition.

nobody insisted anything. they just cancel straight away

i think it depends on:
1) the cs whom you are dealing with (some cs is easy, some is difficult).
2) the ground you are cancelling it (bcs of the sudden changes of their t&c, or bcs you were given the cc type which is not what you applied, or etc.) <-- you have the right to cancel

Kena rejected for the JustOne Platinum MasterCard Credit Card.

But what hilarious is after 1 week of apply, I have received SMS like below like email address updated, my credit card number, my activation code, temporary password even though I have not receive my credit card yet.

The next day after I received all the SMS above, I received this massage mentioned that my credit card application is unsuccessful. What the damn hell? Is this what Standard Chartered normally do?

Most likely your card is en route. Look out for those plastic wrapped envelops!
