How do you guys think of the WorldMiles card? Is it worthy enough? I know it doesn't come with Lounge Access feature, but the RM3 to 1 WorldMiles (to 1 air miles) seems quite a bargain. hmm.gif

SCB WM is flexible in terms of converting the accumulated WorldMiles into your preferred airlines miles program but after i came across the lower conversion rate of MBB 2C for Enrich i made no hesitation in getting one. if you fly frequently with AirAsia, SCB WM might be useful since you get 25000 BIG points upon activation. on another note this card has a pretty good dining and travel privileges. during my sign up i got RM55 cashback upon activation and the membership fee for WorldMiles program is waived for the first year. my take is just grab the card while it lasts

do you mean this promotion? https://www.sc.com/my/edm/creditcards/parks...cher/index.html

if yes, you read the t&c below:

7. All Vouchers will be delivered within eight (8) weeks from the end of the Promotion.

New Customers mean applicants who have not held the bank Credit Card, whether as principal or supplementary cardholder, within the past 12 months before re-apply

If you travel a lot and not going to apply for Maybank2 cards, then it's a good card I think. hmm.gif

The WorldMiles card has conversion rate of RM3/airmile (domestic transaction), while Maybank2 has RM1.40/airmile (assuming you used AmEx for all the valid transaction). The sifus here already calculated those numbers so I'll just go ahead and trust them. tongue.gif

My wife just came back from overseas and noted that she was charge RM50GST which was due last month. So she called StanChart and the CS informed her that the RM50 GST will be waived if you swipe the card 3 times before her next statement date.

Not only that, she won't be charged a sen in annual fee even tho she did not even use her SCB VI once this year.
