I applied JustOne savings account via online and got approved the next day. Quick and efficient, probably because I'm also holding their credit card.

So, I chose my preferred branch is in PD as I'm on leave this whole week to collect my debit card and activate my account as well.

I was extremely pleased with the service rendered, very professional. Then, I was delighted that when the officer told me I'm entitled for a free power bank because I have their credit card and applied debit card via online.

Think back, the main reason I applied for their credit card was for the free cashback. And now I applied the debit card is for the Cirrus network which eases my short term assignment in overseas. I already have PLUS network from Maybank.

I feel bad.

I called standard charted customer service, they say I will get rm300 after i activate the card.

When ask them to email me black and white, they say don't have email access.

What a shame joke , standard charted customer service don't have email.

When I told that I will record down the call, that standard charted customer service agent directly disconnect the call.

i cancelled my SCB card last mth cause the CS told me the cash back for petrol (15%) promotion ended in august. However, I received my e-statement still this month for the card that i cancelled and noticed that i got my petrol cash back in Oct 2013 for my sept 2013 spending which credit RM48 to my CC. Now that i have cancelled my SCB cc and throw the card I regret already =( RM48. Thanks to the stupid CS.

Anyone can confirm what was the cut off date for the 15% petrol promo???? cos i only get my credit back on august and credit back always late 1-2 month.......So no dunno want to use it or not.......HAHA...................

i think there was a miscommunication between you and the cs. yes, the 15% petrol cash back campaign run from 15/6/13 until 31/7/13 only, which means ended by august. but that is for sign-up and approval only, while the petrol cash back is until 31/12/13 (for card approval between 15-30/6/13) and 31/1/14 (for card approval between 1-31/7/13).

This Campaign will run from 13 February 2013 until 30 April 2013; inclusive of both dates ("Campaign Period") and is open to individuals who have not held any Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad Credit Card (Principal or Supplementary card) within the past 12 months. (Note: Original campaign period has been extended.)

Customers must take up one of the above credit cards during the Campaign Period. These customers will receive the RM55 CashBack, but must further activate their credit card within 30 days (but before 30 April 2013) for the Acquisition Gift of either a SmartTAG or a Touch ‘n Go Card with preloaded value of RM100 (customers in East Malaysia may choose either the Touch ‘n Go card or CashBack of RM80).

Customers may select either Acquisition Gift at the time of application for the credit card. Only ONE Acquisition Gift will be granted to each approved customer regardless of the number of credit cards taken up.

These customers will also enjoy Petrol CashBack for petrol purchases made using these credit cards within 6 months from the month in which the relevant cards were approved. Each customer is entitled to Petrol CashBack for only one credit card, which will be the higher card type.

Petrol CashBack is capped at RM48 per month per customer for applications via the Bank’s branches or direct sales agencies. This CashBack is further subject to a maximum total Petrol CashBack of RM1,600,000 from13 February to 30 September 2013, across all the Bank’s customers in this Campaign.
