PC Zone & Viewnet selling GIGABYTE 290 for RM1449 and SAPPHIRE 290 for RM1499.

Ok, instant update on price, asus rm1450, gigabyte rm1400, sapphire rm15xx (not interested to ask more), i inspect both gigabyte and asus, i believe it is oem card, both pcb and stickers are same, so i choose gigabyte to save rm50 for future cooler upgrade

Did you guys encounter any problems when installing catalyst 13.9 on Windows 8.1? I kept getting BSOD while installing. Now have to stick back to catalyst 13.4

I got it from Viewnet, but that branch no more stock already according to the sales person, other branches i'm not sure, another shop is call PC Zone also selling same price.

so how come AMD FX 9590 8 core with higher base clock get defeated by i7 4770K with only 4 core lower base clock......

Well he's comparing an Intel with another Intel.

So if you wanna use FX9580 then yeah it's better than the 6 and 4-core AMD procs.

can anyone give a me link to update my driver? im a complete computer idiot here, and i dont really understand those website, so many version ~.~ . currently using sapphire 7870xt with boost, win7 64bit.

and about the AMD catalyst packages when i check amd website, do i download this and install or do i ned to download the latest beta driver as well?? confusing. lol

You can choose either WHQL or Beta driver but I recommend download the beta driver as its a the latest and usually optimized for latest games, If you found certain issues with it, uninstall and install WHQL driver instead.
