One question, just flash Carbon ROM. Build number 4.3.1 JLS. Trying to find Hells kernel. Only found JWR, JSS, CM only. Is it okay to flash the JWR?

I'm having the same Whatsapp problem as you. Still can't figure out why.

Exactly the same problem when using wifi
sometimes need to turn on the screen then the Wahatsapp msg only will receive
could it be wifi is sleeping while screen is off?
*
By delay, do you guys mean receiving it like 2-5 minutes after? I have this kind of problems too, and apllied to all notifications, gmails, wechat etc. Seems to be a wifi notification delay bug but people in XDA claimed that this was fixed in 4.3. In 4.2, i encountered this prob too and the delay was severe, like 10-30 minutes late. Anyway, been changing from kernels to kernels and so far Hell core b38 gave me the most satisfied result. Notifications come like instant, no delay!

Sifus here who was using 4.2.2 with stock ROM & Kernel, after upgraded to 4.3, what is the benefit in this version for our phone? Is that good to upgrade to that version?

By the way, how are you backup your app + data before upgrading?

Things that visible to user:

- Bluetooth Smart Ready
- OpenGL ES 3.0
- Dial pad - Autocomplete
- New camera UI

...

Worth to upgrade. If you are upgrading from stock ROM/kernel, using Over the Air (OTA), no need to backup anything. Just chose to upgrade.

i finally uncover the mystery why i cant get 4 hours SOT.. today i just got 4 hours + SOT with wifi + 3g surfing.. its because of the reception. if got good reception, my battery graph doesn't fall so steep, but if i have bad signal, the battery graph will drop very steep.
in conclusion: umobile has bad reception in my home
