I hope Google release android 5 in the next release instead of another android 4. How would u guys feel
If google release android 5 but a lot of feature exclusive to nexus 6 only or 5? Hmm

For me Android release name & numbering doesn't matter. What matters is the OS refinement & added functions. Android 4.1,4.2,4.3 & 4.4 did improve stuffs.
Eg 4.1 brought Google Now,4.2 brought Project Butter,4.3 looks lame but has a lot under the hood performance & security enhancement & 4.4 brought software optimization.

The different between Android 4.4 version of N4 & N5 isn't much.Main thing is the GEL which you can install manually.

Stock ROM / launcher... then install GoogleHome.apk. nothing else. i thought your guys talking about that. sorry.

Sorry for asking this - i know many had asked. Is there a way to sideload KitKat without losing my data - needs to unlock bootloader rite? Would the bootloader lock back after finishing sideloading KitKat.

me too, can't shake and check ppl nearby, already ask in previous page even in XDA i ask, no one reply,

many say that wechat cannot use android location service, but even i use wifi only on location setting also cannot use

are you using fastboot method? if you are, try update your folder(fastboot,adb).

Need to unlock bootloader which means data will be completely wiped. You can try to backup using Helium. Helium can backup even without root. Otherwise it's impossible.

His bootloader should be locked. So your answer doesn't help

use nexus toolkit backup all the system and data and restore it after unlock. or just wait few more days for ota

boot into Custom Recovery. use adb to backup anything you need.
