Seem a lot with Power Button issue. May be I am one of those lucky enough to have no issue with the Power Button. I used it regularly. Not using any of those Swipe-to-wake stuff. The button work without issue. rolleyes.gif

*touch wood*

Been using it since Jan.

Have not got time to play with Kitkat source. One feature I like in Kitkat is the new Screen recording capability. I used to make video recording from another phone to show the smoothness of Nexus 4.

I guess it's now possible to record those with just:

CODE
adb shell screenrecord

With the arrival of Android 4.4 Kit Kat on Nexus 4, it's still worth buying smile.gif There's no doubt.

you can already get one right now at sub 1k. someone posted it here before. shops like DirectD has cleared their stock of N4, since N5 is here. If i were you, i'll wait for a while, for N5 to drop to around 1.2 or 1.3k. eventhought N4 is a nexus phone, and would receive fast update, it is always nicer to get the latest version.

You get it wrong...

S3 has a better camera compared to Nexus 4. I've been in a situation where S3 and Note 2 camera totally put Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus camera in shame. So many shots taken on Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus comes out blurry. Friend Note 2/S3 just one shot already a much better picture.

Maybe you won't find them different in perfect setting (sufficient light, still subject etc) but the camera in S3 is quite far ahead in low light.

Seems like Google will continue to make Nexus phones suffer in low light sad.gif

*Don't flame me with... something like "Get a camera to take picture, not a phone" Not everyone has the cash to spend on 2 gadgets instead of one* icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes what IwanAGP says is true. One thing Nexus 4 lose to S3 is the camera. I have compared before a few camera and NExus 4 looks like a cheap phone with 1.3MP camera when it comes to low light rclxub.gif

However if you are not expecting it to get great shots and normal shots, it should serve you well.

Nexus is less than RM1k now as mentioned by a lot of previous forumer here hahaha ...

In Setting, we can set to play a sound when screen is locked, but there is no option for us to change the lock sound. Is this achievable in stock ROM?

Nope, you can't change the tone. It is part of UI tones....
