According to reports..we alrd offerd contract extension till 2016 and Mou ask him to be back at bridge next season to challenge cech.

But he is stalling the deal coz don want to be on the bench. (cant blame him)..dont forget cech is only 32 next year.. that is a minimum of 3 years of good football left on him if he can stay with current level.

imho i want him to stay but very very difficult.
Worst is we need to cash him...dont forget he cost only 5 mils last time. That's pretty handsome opportunity even if cfc sell him minimun like 20mil (de gea cost united around the same if im not mistaken).

Dont get me wrong..i want thibaut too but .....

Well said bro. Cech still has a few more years in him. It will be very hard to Courtois to challenge Cech. Courtois don't want to be benched as well (World Cup coming), he will want to play and perform and established himself as Belgium's number 1.

UNLESS, one day, Cech wakes up and feel, 'I've won everything with Chelsea, EPL, FA Cup, Carling Cup, Europa cup, Champions League. It's time for me to seek for a new challenge somewhere else.' If this feeling comes to Cech, he might push for a transfer, like Drogba, Cech has gave us everything in his career, I would not be surprise if he seeks a new challenge. Unless this happens next season, I don't see Courtois being our number 1 GK.

He did mentioned this himself before this season iinm. The prospect of leaving CFC is in his consideration. I won't be surprised if this is his last season.

Then let's hope he end his career in Chelsea on a high note. Champions League and EPL double! rclxms.gif

Just watched Match of the Day highlights. Hazard was simply superb. That burst of pace, that drag back, that lobbed assist to Lamps. Simply class. And his dribbling and movement, taking out defenders. 2 defenders on him? so what? played 1-2 with Lamps and scored another goal. Hope he gets more consistent now. thumbup.gif

Demba Ba remains the most physical striker that we have. Eto and Torres is not as physical as him and their hold up play is not as good as Ba imo.

And he always score those acrobatic goals. I rmb he scored 1 for us against Man Utd last season in some cup match. I don't know how he twist his body and always score. lol.

To be honest, I think Torres miss is not as bad as Bendtner's miss against Hull City. Bendtner was even closer to the goal. thumbup.gif

I hope Mou utilizes the depth of our squad. Willian started the last game (good sign). Now for the next game, Hazard, Mata, KDB PLEASE!

Haiya, apa ni JM, why not give Cole and KDB a game?

It's december, where the games are coming quick and fast, should rest Azpi and gave Cole a game, provide KDB the chance to play also. Don't know why, I feel pity for Cole. whistling.gif

Mou, face the fact now. Cole is a better LB, Azpi is a proper RB. Now play your players in their best position!

The best result for us is a draw for Arsenal Everton match. I just can't brain it. Azpi on the left, Iva on the right. Why mou always chop and change things, why can't let the players play in their original positions. vmad.gif

Our set piece defending really got problem dy. Where is the old Mou? Where is our defensive brilliance Mou?

It will need some time for Mou. Last time, he was in charge, Roman gave him a blank cheque book, he signed all the players he wanted, Carvalho, Ferreira. This team to be fair, was inherited from previous coach. Give Mou some time, he will find the right signing and bring us back the title!

Let's not keep our heads down guys. KTBFFH!

LB - Cole, Bertrand
CB - Luiz, Terry, Iva, Cahill
RB - Azpi, Kalas

It's clear as hell we have 2 players for each position in our back line. Why must Mou play Azpi at LB and Iva at RB? really mind fucuk. vmad.gif

No doubt, all of us is a little disappointed in the way we lost yesterday. Yes our defending is not so good lately, our set piece defending is not good.

As for the winning goal from Assaidi, if you watch Match Of The Day, it was from a fast break by Chelsea. At 2-2, we are chasing the game, so obviously Lamps, Ram the midfielders all attacking gung ho when a fast break chance arrives. I think it was Ba or Ramires which could not bring down the ball to control, which resulted in an intercept by Stoke's player. As Ireland got the ball, our midfielders (Lamps, Rams) still in fast break attacking position. Ireland has all the time and space in the world to thread a pass to Assaidi.

When a team is tied, it is normal to go all out for the win. So guys, it's just things are not going our way. If Ba or Ramires had taken the ball down and control it, we could've counter Stoker in numbers. Every decision has a risk, just this time it did not favour us.

And also not forgetting Walter's push on Azpi which was actually a foul imo, that lead to a Stoke's goal as well. I would say that things are not going our way atm.

KTBFFH!

I've been reading the Man Utd thread. Their fans even fight against another and argue say don't support Man Utd la.

Luckily we chelsea supporters are still behind Mou. And at least we're not giving ridiculous suggestion like #moyesout. whistling.gif

Give 4-2-3-1 a full season. See where it lands us. If the outcome is not that good, I'm sure Mou will have some tactical changes, maybe revert to 4-3-3. Or get better players suited to 4-2-3-1.

Due to Mou's new attacking philosophy, I would say 4-2-3-1 is the formation for us. The main problem for us is the pivot. Essien out of form and old, Lamps can't play week in week out, Ramires good stamina but sometimes lack the killer pass (not the best passer), MVG injured.

I would like to see a robust pivot midfielder to be signed. Someone like Vidal, Kondogbia, Khedira. Someone that is strong and physical, possess good passing skill, can both attack and defend.

Lukaku is still very attached to us. He admitted he is a Chelsea fan, he idolized Drogba, and wants to do well in Chelsea.

Courtois' situation is interesting. He is already capable as a starting 11. He might think to move on if Chelsea does not appreciate him. But he must understand, goalkeepers have long careers, and a goalkeeper gets better with age. Let's hope Courtois is patient enough to wait for his turn to be in Chelsea's starting 11.

Piazon! I like this kid. Another Kaka in the making. brows.gif Hope Chelsea keep him at all cost.

I would like to see MVG back in action asap. MVG + Ram or MVG + Lamps will steady our midfield imo. brows.gif
