Barca's style is high pressing + highline. Ours is just high pressing so far. Maybe after this season, Mou will go further into emulating Barca's style.

btw, Barca style not onli high back line + pressure up top, Barca also play possession football. But their possession football, some how I feel lose to Arsenal's possession football. Arsenal's possession football seems more exciting than Barca's, imo la. sweat.gif

hmm.gif Let's say if Mata do decide to leave, who to fill his boot? If he leaves, Oscar will be our main AM, who to back him up?

Left AM - Hazard/KDB
Right AM - Willian/Schurrle

recall Piazon? hmm.gif

Kdb also leaving.
Mou have said if some1 leave, some1 will come in.
so most likely we will sign new player or recalled certain loan player.
*
Means if KDB and Mata leaves, we'll need to sign 1 winger, 1 AM, plus original plan to sign 1 striker and 1 pivot midfielder. Seems like it's gonna be a busy January. brows.gif

Looking at our options we have to recall loan players, for AM position we have Piazon to replace Mata? For side AM we have Marin, Kakuta, Moses. Not bad. smile.gif

For pivot position, if Essien leaves, Mou can try recalling Romeu or Chalobah. smile.gif

Don't know if I'm slowpoke.

A report about our on loan player Oroil Romeu.

The 22-year-old had a slow start to his time at the Mestalla and struggled to settle in to the team. However, his performance against Swansea City in the Europa League showed exactly what he can achieve when he is on form.

Romeu won seven aerial duels as well as making five tackles and another five clearances. Valencia’s 1-0 win saw them secure top spot in Group A, guaranteeing their progress to the knockout stages. He then played a key role in Los Che’s 3-0 drubbing of Osasuna in La Liga to take them to ninth place in the table.

His vision and passing make him the perfect player for the pivot, giving the attacking players the confidence to go forward. According to The Express, Valencia manager Miroslav Djukic has been so impressed with Romeu’s performances that he has enquired about the possibility of signing him at the end of his season-long loan.

Yup. I've read this too. Imo, there is 2 ways to view this news.
1) Mou is actually telling others that Mata is up for sale, since he said 'but my door is open'.
2) Mou actually meant what he say, that he wants to keep Mata.

I think if we receive 30+ million for him, Mou will seriously consider selling Mata.

seriously, 30m? that would be an insult if we sell him for that price.

well, that is at least. We bought him 20+ m iinm. If we sell at August, sure can hit 40m. But now mid season, Jan transfer window, clubs in negotiating will use excuses like he is cuptied to lower the price. I'm looking at 35+ m to be honest. brows.gif

Chelsea teenager Bertrand Traore will join Vitesse Arnhem on loan for the rest of the season with Gael Kakuta and Sam Hutchinson ending their spells at the Dutch Eredivisie club.

Kakuta and Hutchinson are set to return, although they are expected to move out on loan again to a different club before end of the transfer window.

At this age, I don't see Oscar playing at pivot, maybe when Oscar matures more and reaches 27-28. Mou will consider him playing at pivot. brows.gif

Just some wild thought, since we need a striker, what if all of a sudden Mou signs Bendtner from Arsenal? thumbup.gif His body build is just nice for our 4-2-3-1, but less prolific goal scorer. hmm.gif

Chelsea latest: Bayern target David Luiz + De Bruyne ‘not allowed to leave’

Meanwhile, the saga of Kevin De Bruyne has taken a rather unexpected twist, with the latest reports indicating that the Belgian will not be allowed to permanently leave in the January transfer window.

It had been thought that the marginalised De Bruyne would make a swift exit this month, with his agent Patrick De Koster explaining that his client has his heart set on a move away.

But despite the words of his agent, Press Association Sport (via Eurosport) understand that Chelsea do not want the Belgian to leave Stamford Bridge this winter.

Mourinho is said to be prepared to give the 22-year-old more playing time this January, and is refusing to entertain the idea of losing the player with the Blues still fighting on three domestic and European fronts this season.

The Portuguese boss will reportedly allow De Bruyne to leave at the end of the month if he is still unhappy, but only on loan, something that may cause even more issues.

Mata for PSG? hmm.gif What if we ask PSG to include Matuidi for the deal? I'm sure Ichi will support me in this. brows.gif

For Higuain's transfer, if Mata is part of the deal, I prefer Napoli to top up mang. Mata is younger than Higuain iinm. Better prospect. I rate Mata higher than Higuain. :

Btw, 35m for Mata is an insult, but teams will use a lot of excuses like he's cup tied, he has not played much recently, no guarantee of good performance etc.

1 of my fav player in PES too. Good stamina and dribbling, shooting power oso mang. brows.gif But don't know why he is so loyal to Napoli. Should have jumped ship to EPL imo. One of the most unpredictable league. He'll make a great EPL player. rclxms.gif

Ya. No doubt hamsik is a good player. But I doubt Mou will sign him. Not quite suited to our pivot, imho, Hamsik's body strength is better than Mata, but not the best, I still prefer Guarin over him at pivot position. brows.gif

hamsik play AM or pivot? if AM leceh la...but if direct swap with Mata no hal...can give oscar competition

His best position i would say is AM. Swap him wif Mata to give some competition to Oscar. Not bad, why i never thot of it. rclxms.gif Hamsik is at his peak imho.

QUOTE(hhng @ Jan 3 2014, 07:52 PM)
hamsik is more a Steven Gerald styles of player...

and also recently Moyes is interested to sign hamsik since september
*
Yup. His attacking is really good. Man Utd desperately need a AM. Which is why Mata was linked to Man Utd switch. But I doubt Mou will sell Mata to a direct rival, although Man Utd is out of top 4. tongue.gif
