Exactly, don't know why we loan so many to Vitesse. Van Aanholt and Piazon deserves to be playing in the EPL.

Mancienne is a big lose in my opinion. He played quite well in our reserves. vmad.gif

If we did not let Mancienne leave, he will be partnering MVG for our pivot midfield.

Just when this remark was made, Bayern lost to Man City in UCL... one thing's for sure, nothing is certain in football... they all has it's ups and downs... lol... anyway, looking forward to this weekend's game against Crystal Palace... but lately, Crystal Palace is on some sort of form since Tony Pulis takes charge... and Chamakh is on fire right now.... But knowing the game is going to play at SB, I'm hoping a big win for us.  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Not only Chamakh is on form. Cameron Jerome is playing pretty well too. He has a big physique and pacey too. Let's not forget he was used heavily in Stoke City when Pulis was in charge. hmm.gif

I think we shouldn't take Crystal Palace lightly though. They are now kinda on form under Pulis. Hope the fans make it a hostile place in the Bridge. tongue.gif

Hope Hazard scores or assists too. My FPL capitano. biggrin.gif

Oscar is back from injury. So who starts tmr's game for the AMF role? U guys fancy Mata or Oscar? brows.gif

Just found out the livescore shows starting line ups. Am I slow? o.0

Starting line-up: Cech, Iva, Luiz, Terry, Azpi, Ram, Lamps, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Torres.

Don't know how accurate is livescore's starting line up. whistling.gif

Next match no Iva, Azpi play RB, Cole restored to LB. Essien too slow to play RB imo.

Call it sloppy, call it boring. But still 3 points in the bag. With Arsenal losing, it's vital we got all 3 points. Next up Arsenal! Optimistic guys! If we beat them, we'll go top!

hmm.gif Our goals for and goals against is very similar to Arsenal. Fair to say Arsenal's defending not doing so well too?

I guess the next game against Arsenal will be a battle of attacks. That's the only way I guess. With our defending not very well in recent games, it's best to just adopt an all out attack strategy. Let Arsenal score, but as long as we score more than them? thumbup.gif

hmm.gif Has been reading Arsenal's tered. Seems like their own supporters also said that they lack a defensive midfield that is strong. Flamini sometimes on and off, Arteta not physical enough, Ramsey defending just okok only.

Looking at how Man City bullied Arsenal, Yaya and Fernandinho. We need 2 strong and physical pivot against them. But too bad MVG is injured. When the physical word come to mind, my mind automatically think of Mikel and Essien. But Essien is lack of form atm. Mou needs to find a way to control the midfield against Arsenal.

i think mikel - rami combo is good enough to counter arsenal passes. schurlle and willian shud play also. need to keep sagna and their left back busy.

Agree on Mikel + Ram combo. It seems to be more balanced. But Schurlle and Willian, I think only 1 will play. Hazard is a must start, he can provide us some spark. AMF either Oscar or Mata. The last spot, it's either Schurrle or Willian. Willian has been doing quite well recently, so is Schurrle. It's a good headache to Mou. thumbup.gif

Well, it seems like the next game against Arsenal will be a real headache for Mou. I'm rooting him to start Lamps + Ram. This combo is his go-to for most of the games. hmm.gif

Now not 3 amigos dy. Is 5. Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle, Willian. All 5 is starting to perform. Hazard in some games are providing his brilliance. Mata starting to regain form. Oscar was good from the start of the season. Shurrle has been playing quite well, especially his 2 goals against Stoke. Willian recently has been picking up the pace. KDB has yet to prove his worth imo. thumbup.gif

To be honest, Suarez will be the perfect striker for us. Can score from outside or inside box and also assist others to score goals, can drop deep and help out midfielder. He is currently the most complete striker in the world imo.

But I don't think we'll sign Suarez. Who to make way? Torres? Ba?

I think Negredo can be fitted into our system. He is strong, technically skilled and always run among the defender's last line. But too bad he was signed by Man City 1st. doh.gif

hidzwan, spot on. Mou likes to stamp his authority in the team that he is managing. When he first came, his philosophy was score first, defend by parking a bus in front of the goal. During those years, it worked and won us the EPL with the record of fewest goals conceded.

But now, after managing across Spain and Italy. I feel Mou is a changed man. In Madrid, he adopts the 4-5-1 formation. He is slowly changing his philosophy. Along with Roman's demand of attractive football with Mou's newly acquired attacking philosophy, it is going to take time for our team to gain that identity of attractive football. We need the right players, the right attitude, the right fitness and playing style. So it's going to take time imo. Give it 1 or 2 season, things will work out for us.

Just look at Liverpool, it took Brendan Rodgers some time to make them play attractively like how Swansea used to play. rclxms.gif
