Forgotten to add above that I already have HLB Essential with 1% unlimited. So what I looking for is more than 1% rebate CC for online transaction. smile.gif
*
I also Not Sure with that... hmm.gif
Currently, I Think No Other CC's have Offer More than 1% Rebate for Online Spend Except UOB Vox, CIMB Platinum Cash Rebate Platinum & MBB 2 Amex (Weekends Spend) Which have giving 5% Cash Rebate

Sorry for not following the format, but I just need to know which CC is the best for online purchases? I have HL WISE, Citibank Clear and OCBC currently, and they don't help much for purchases made online.

Thanks!

Thanks for this. I came across it earlier, but the terms were not updated yet. Now I saw that they have the new 2014 clause up.
Thanks!
Thanks for such comprehensive list!

From what I gather so far, seems like CIMB would be a good one for any day online usage without specific amount since it gives 5% (a lot higher than the rest, except Maybank's) with an increased limit of RM50 this year.
I'll go find out more on the CIMB card from here, thanks!

Even factoring in offers such as 10% off at certain dining places? Do note I spend roughly RM1000+- per month. With RM1000 per month, the total treat points after 3 years is roughly 100,000. Where as Citibank its lifetime and I can save it up till I really want to spend my points. And the offers for Citibank Clear Card sort of interest me. Where as Maybank has lesser offers. What do you think?
*
Yes, Maybe Citibank Card Privileges (Discount or Offer) + Evergreen Rewards Point No Expired Which's become a Attraction to Most of PPL, but the Clear Card do came with Annual Fee (RM90) + GST RM50. Ya, You may Request Annual Fee Waiver from Citibank Every Year but Sometimes also Subject to their Approval, they give or not ... sweat.gif
Meanwhile, Maybank 2Cards will Benefiting U with 2 cards, Maybankard 2 American Express® Card & Maybankard 2 Visa / MasterCard, in 1 Sign up, 1 Service Tax, and 1 Statement plus, the MBB 2 Cards also is Lifetime Fee Waiver with NO T&C's Applied to... thumbup.gif

You can Accumulate/Earn More Rewards Point lebih Cepat: 2x / 5X Treats point + 5% Cash-Back from Weekends Spend with Maybank 2Cards (Amex) for Every RM1 Spent. Do Use the Treats Point to Offset Yearly GST or Shopping Voucher Redemption Even Use it for MAS Enrich Air Miles Redemption ... Although the Treats Point came with 3 Years Expiration Period icon_rolleyes.gif
As for Citibank Clear Card just Plain RM1 /1 Rewards Point
Furthermore, FYI... NO Point will be Rewarded on Petrol Purchase with Most of the Citi's Credit Card doh.gif

With Maybank 2Cards U Can Enjoy Lowest finance charge of 8.88% per annum on your outstanding retail balance. All you need to do is promptly settle minimum payment, 5% of the outstanding balance or a minimum of RM25.
Citibank or Most All the Bank CC with Finance Charge of 15-18% per Annum or a min of RM50

Btw, U can Consider also with OCBC Titanium Card as Spared - Unlimited 1% Cash Back for Everything + is Free For Life with No Annual Fee, Which is Good for the Place that X Accept Amex wink.gif

meaning that even if the store don't have EPP with CIMB (but other banks got), can I still pay CIMB on a 12 month basis?

thanks biggrin.gif
*
No, I Mean is You Only can Convert Your Credit Card's Purchase to Easy Payment Plan from Your Card Issuer Bank (Not with Other Banks) ... sweat.gif
(ie, like You used Your CIMB CC to Purchase Something You Only Need to Call CIMB to Convert IT to EPP...)

Hi bro , i had been rejected by HSBC , CitiBank and Hongleong wise card . i got my basic 2900 + allowance . my background is very clean coz i just work around 1 years including 4 months in recent company. i got no any housing loan or car loan . Why so hard for me to get one credit card? Any bank is the easiest for first time to apply cc ? i need help ...
*
As I Replied You Early at the Hong Leong Wise Card Thread U Have Rejected by ALL the Bank Reason of:

The Reason Why the Banks Have Reject Your Apps: You Don't Have a Stable Job Yet, due to You Baru Tukar Kerja... sweat.gif

Usually, the Bank will Reject the Applicant Who on his/her NEW Job within 6 Months (Maybe still on Probation) Not having Stable Job yet, Even EPF's Contribution also the Bank want to See You with min. 6 Months Records before They Consider to Grant U a Credit Card ... nod.gif

Why U want a Credit Card in such Hurried...???

But Anyway, You can try to get UOB Card or RHB Travel Money CC They Evaluation are More Lenient Compare with Others... nod.gif, Build up Your Credit History 1st & You will have More CCs, Later on ... wink.gif

I have epf from 2013 till 2014 every month . I have confirmation letter too . UOB one card is easy for me to get first ? how about public bank and standard charter?
*
What I Mean Your New EPF's Contribution on Your NEW Job the Amount is Different from Your Old One, Isn't It...???
U have to Know that Nowadays, the Banks are More Stingy than Last Times... Now, they want to see Your Latest Income Proof... nod.gif
Even They will Grant a CC for You, Trust Me Definitely With Very Low CL... sweat.gif
Believe Me or Not, I Even get a Card from HSBC with CL $2000 Only (Tiada Cukup for Me to Buy i-Phone)... laugh.gif

What U can Do Now:
I) Must Project Yourself a Stable Image
You Must Understand that, The More Settled & Stable You Seem... the Longer You have been at Your Current Address, in a Job, the Better or Higher Chances to Get Your Loan/ Credit Card Approve... brows.gif
II) Limit Your Apps
Never or X Apply for Maybe more than 2 Credit Card or Loan Deal at the Same time... nod.gif
If the Bank sees that You have applied for 3 or More Cards/ Loan in a Short time (they can See It on Your Credit Report), They Will Assume You're in Desperate Need of $$$... Desperate Ppl Don't make Good Credit Risks / Not a Good Pay Master, For Sure Your Apps X be Approved...lah

So, Pls Don't Rushed for Multiple CC Apps at the Same time, Maybe U can Wait for Another 6 Months (Cooling Period) Later, U Can Submit a Fresh CC Apps with Your NEW Stable Look... biggrin.gif
