IPv6 is not running on your system.

You do not have the "ipv6" connection indicator in your above post, unlike mine.

Here is my IPCONFIG and PING to google.com

See the difference? tongue.gif
yes I noticed that, hence the "general failure" ping result
I suppose this Dlink DSL-2730E modem is a half-baked product in terms of IPv6 features.
My PC could only utilize IPv6 only in bridge mode.

Every other connection methods failed to advertise / delegate the IPv6 to the PC.
Be it SLAAC with/without DHCPv6 or RA rclxub.gif

Before I upgraded to Unifi, I was also using the TM-supplied DLink DSL-2730E.

In Streamyx, I could not get IPv6 to work even though the firmware "supported" it.

What is this ipv6 all about? Ever since i rebooted my router yesterday. My popcorn time can't work anymore. Downloading at 16kb/sec instead of previous 800kb/sec

Issue resolved. Disable the IPV6 settings at my router and voila... back to 900kb/sec

something is not right

I have both TM Riger modem and TP Link modem, both MTU set at 1492

SLAAC

some of websites are not reachable or extremely slow with ipv6 on TP Link modem

but with TM's Riger modem, ipv6 works almost 100%, all sites reachable and fast speed

whats the cause? firmware problem? I don't see anymore advance setting for ipv6 have differences compare to TM's preset

different router use different MTU ? or what

I'm in Bandar Sri Sendayan on Streamyx 8Mbps. IPv6 address obtainable but can't go anywhere . I've tried Windows 7 PPPoE dialer with IPv6 enabled. I can see the address assigned but ping -6 or tracert -6 (or -d) won't go anywhere and stuck there. Tried with pfsense, mikrotik, openwrt (all of these on Virtualbox - Host PC Windows 7 64). I'm not sure as to why they assigned address but no route at all.

Experiencing the same thing, on 3rd party routers, IPv6 will usually be kinda slow to access certain sites while it works great on the stock router provided by TM (mine is a D-Link DIR-615).

Hi there!
i'm currently running OpenWRT BarrierBreaker final version on DIR-615.
i'm able to get ipv6 address for my wan interface starting with 2001:E68
however i'm not able to get ipv6 address starting with 2001:E68 for my lan.
does this mean that my place does not support ipv6 yet?
any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

For Barrier Breaker, you use the subnet assigned to your PPPoE interface for the computers/smartphones connected in your LAN.

Hi there!
Thanks for the reply.
can you help to explain what steps are needed for configurations in Barrier Breaker?
i have tested with dir-615 stock firmware version 7.19 and confirmed that ipv6 is working on my area.
many thanks!
