i never thought baytail is this powerful, with 22nm manufacturer process, this is like underclock celeron already (but it is quad-core)

My sentiments exactly when I first tested it! So far the only file that has problem is a Spaceship Yamato one that has the funkiest Karaoke effect I've ever seen. But given that even my proper desktops can't process that sequence properly I guess that's definetly an exception.

Yes, just noticed it a few more times today, seems to be due to the brightness controller. I'm trying to nail down when it occurs, I think it happens more often if you leave the brightness at < 50%

Here's what happens when you connect the Acer W4 to an external HDMI display.

Tried to do Widi Connection to my Sony Bravia TV.. and its more stable than my Experia Z1, however you need to connect while its on landscape mode, if you use the potrait mode and connect to the tv using miracast (screen sharing), the TV will lock as a extended screen, not the mirror display..

I think the most disappointing is the home button. Too soft and sometimes not even responding.

You're referring to the fact that sometimes you can't press the front button to wake up the system right? Ingest that too, I wonder if it goes to sleep? Cause I think after a while it stops responding to the first press.

Just remember if you're browsing in IE, you can't just pinch and zoom to the main content area remember that browsing by panning is a norm on tablets tongue.gif

hmm.gif I believe the 32GB eMMC capacity in Asus T100 pull back the buyer.
Not only the capacity, the speed is huge different too

attached with the benchmark of T100 32GB eMMC, you may compare with w4 benchmark result in this thread

Actually I came across a deal in Mudah for surface pro plus stylus and keyboard dock for just RM1.6K not too long ago but I pass. A bit regret after that but so glad now.

I really wish that Fleksy come to windows. Getting very addicted with it.

lol, it didn't support clone mode, this is quite bad sweat.gif
maybe clone mode is possible via intel graphic control panel Display -> Multiple Display setting and save the profile.
at least, its good to know that baytrail can support extended display, maybe can use 1080p resolution instead for secondary display laugh.gif

However, it is good to know that this sub rm1000 tablet can play 15mbps 1080p hi10p 16ref frame well.maybe i will buy one. shouldnt be a problem to run 720p 8bit HEVC codec in future for software decoding

thank you for the wonderful testing rclxms.gif
you are really helpful thumbup.gif
