it's an x86, so yes you can play games on it.

But, you're not going to be playing COD on it obviously. tongue.gif

Upgraded to latest version of mpc-hc which uses the version of LAV that has HEVC support, and yes, it can play it, some jerks around the busier scenes though.

appreciate your reply, is the stuttering obvious?

Yup, basically it's what you see in the previous gen Clovertrail where decoding can't keep up.

How many ppl actually use HEVC for normal videos anyway? tongue.gif

depends on what kind of game you wanted to play.
i seen dota 2 drop to as low as 10-15fps on 5v5 war. diablo 3 sluggish like hell. WOW is perfect smooth on pve.
This vid will let you know. i believe game using source engine will fair better. light games such as indie games n etc will be no problem for the CPU - which is the same across acer w4/t100/pro 8.
I decide to hold back for mayb 2nd rev with better graphic capability or see what AMD will offer on this as i'm searching for smth as mild gaming portability tablet pc at <Rm1.5k.
If you have more cash to spend, you may consider Dell 11 Pro using i3/i5 with better graphic processing capability namely GT2 @ RM2.5k +-.
On the bright note, the price of these tablet is really attractive on what they can offer you.

Tried with USB powered hub, and it didn't charge only providing USB extension access.. its going to be a concern if one want to convert it to full PC replacement with external monitor and keyboard n mouse.

Waiting for Marauderz test on the USB cable with power...

Or, another work around, use the Wifi Storage NAS like/cloud storage... + Bluetooth keyboard and HDMI connection to the monitor.. and let the USB port only for charging.

PS: Last nite instead turning on my Rig to torrenting, I used the W4, surprisingly the battery still last until morning with 4x2Gb torrent download capped @ 5mbps.. (Stored @ the SDHC)

probably cheaper to use micro to std hdmi adapter & use the std hdmi cable instead. Found retailers selling the adapter for around RM10....
