i would say the tires' condition at >90%, all 4 tires are stock on GE8.

I guess if the tires are worn out, VSC will still activate, but it will take alot of time to stabilize the car.
*
Actually your case is the ones that are gradually losing grip. The VSC still reacts in a not so violent way.

If you go into a corner fast enough and land your car into a rough patch of road or a road that dips away. That vsc correction is very unconfortable as it will start grabbing the brakes on one of the corners and you can get flinged about a bit if you did not brace for it.

Wat to do la. This is not a lexus wei. Sound insulation at this sort of price range is just utterly minimal. Furthermore, the plastics is not what is bothering me now. The ultra seats when no one is seating is much more of a nuisance
*
I am not comparing it with Lexus....just compare it with my other car, Nissan and Toyota....Honda cabin insulation is much inferior to Nissan and Toyota...

I dun deny that la. But, i can only tell you the biggest problem at the end of the day is still the ultra seats. You might be able to solve the insulation problem but you can't stop the ultra seat locking mechanisms from ratlling unless your car permanently seats 4 person.

As for dashboard rattling. There are some odd noises here and there but not a big issue given on the stuff i changed on the car. My chassis now is even at the point where i go up a parking ramp diagonally, the roof lining and stuff starts creaking which i have no complaints about as the swift sport also creaking from day 1 and a friend's golf gti mk7 also having the same problem after a while.

I do agree nissan has better interior build quality. If you DIY stuff. You know their panels are a bitch to pull apart. Honda and toyota interior panels usually just need to pull with hand and off it comes and usually with some broken clips. Haha

So, there is no perfect car except for maybe a flagship lexus which is sweet btw.

P/s : dun blame ckd cos i sat in a crz and also my sis has a japan cbu'ed jazz hybrid. Same rattly rattle. So, it ain't shoddy local workmanship

I dont believe in perfect car....not even lexus or even rolls royce....there must be some weaknesess here and there... the most important thing is that whether we can live with the weaknessess....for me its simple...just buy the car for the intended purposes.....for me Jazz is good enough for me for short distance drive to the Mall or market....thats it....cheers...

There is la, technical perspective wise. We just dun have the perfect bank account to handle owning it.

So, i always dun like to give people high expectations of the car. It is just what it is.

Don't buy and complain about it if you did not put enough thoughts into it i the first place.

Vsc is not a compensation tool. It is not there for you to skimp on general car maintenance. The basics of VSC still revolves around the available grip of your tires.

The less grip,  the more chances VSC kicks in if you push it. It will also mean you have less of a warning between when you have or totally lose grip which means even VSC might not be able to save you.

So,  do not run the tire to the ground and expect vsc to do magic. It is there for safety,  not to be taken for granted. It works in a very simple ground rule, "availability of grip from the tires"
*
I heard some people say if the tire already worn out vsc will kick in regularly indicating the driver to change the tire. Afterall, basic physics rule still applied here i guess.

For me, usually my tires always expired before fully utilized. I know rubber will become hard over the time even the tread is still there somehow the tire will loose its grip.

Basically, it is not easy to get vsc to light up on normal driving irregardless of the tire condition. ABS, yes. VSC, not really.

In poor condition or tires, the easiest way is to turn the steering all the way one side and floor it or flooring it on wet cement floor. But, for it to really light up just from normal driving is hard. If it does, then you are going too fast most probably.

Tires do get hard with age and have the grip diminished. So, just drive carefully depending on situation.

If u compared our ckd jazz to indonesia jazz rs, ours are much better.

Saw a review in youtube about indonesian jazz rs, there gaps, less insulation rubber trim, uneven paints at engine bay n he mentioned about speedometer tampering.

Felt like 60km/hr but speedometer show 80km/hr.

Even reviewers from oversea honda jazz/ fit also complain about noise cabin.

WTF indeed... I would ask WTF is wrong with your eyes...

How can you call black or green as silver...? doh.gif

Look at the attached screenshot. This looks slightly green to me in this angle, but that's just my eyes. It's dark grey in real life, Honda dubbed it Modern Steel Metallic but it's nowhere near silver...

Jazz's silver is slightly darker than City's silver. But it's silver nonetheless.

I do agree with you the car will somehow looks a bit green under some lighting condition. but the car will show its true amazing color especially during cloudy day or during dawn & dusk. really love it! the normal silver is just too boring. no profile, its everywhere on the road.

this new tinted silver is just classy to me. you are probably look at it all wrong. anyway color is subjective.

Why the hostility? Did I bite u? Weird.. I'm just wondering if the salesman lie to me saying the car at their stockyard is silver but it's actually modern steel. Because the silver shown at their website is bright silver, and I expect the Jazz silver metallic to be the same as the city silver metallic.

Never mind I will ask another branch salesperson..

Ps: thanks to those that reply me and show me photos, I guess the silver is abit dark. I just don't want to buy the wrong color and regret that's all..

What hostility...? I replied sarcastically you think I'm hostile...? laugh.gif doh.gif

Your salesman probably new to Honda (as in baru masuk kerja) or blur sotong can't differentiate between silver and dark grey...

On the other hand, every manufacturer has different color codes and you cannot expect a silver toyota (you mentioned Vios) to be the same as honda...

ok, maybe i used a wrong example, if i change that word "vios" to "city" will it be ok to you? my problem is, i saw city with silver metallic and it's light silver to me, i saw online honda website shows a light silver as "silver metallic" and i saw another color "modern steel" as dark silver. but when i'm at the stockyard the salesman show me a dark silver jazz and said "that's the silver jazz, the only silver" and i was skeptical. so i asked here. is there a problem with that? fyi that salesman is near 40 years old with 10 years exp in car sales, previously selling proton then kia then come honda, he got 7 yrs exp in honda, so why would u jump into conclusion that this salesperson just "masuk kerja"? i'm just skeptical because that is the only jazz still available and he MAYBE wanted to quickly push it to us and close the deal instead of waiting for the next shipment.

New salesman will say silver or white but experience one will say tinted silver and taffeta white

I oso surprised to see the silver color is darker. I would choose the red color or black color but only tinted silver was available as ready stock.
