I am using flash player projector. Not sure if that counts as normal browser but my flash player performance whether on KCV or browser isn't up to my satisfactory level as there is some lag. Flash player projector plays kancolle perfectly smooth for me. The lack of extra info doesn't really concern me though.

Though is it possible to change what browser the KCV use? Does anyone know? I am not exactly a huge fan of internet explorer.
I heard it is not temporarily removed but the expiry time is extended from 90 minutes to 20 hours. I hope it stays that way. 90 minutes way too much hassle and there was a maintenance right after the usual Wednesday maintenance due to huge server overload from the implementation of api expiration. It was to be expected since everyone was logging in and out every time their api link was near expiration.

Any link to sanaechan? I currently using flash player projector but without the sanaechan. Didn't lurk that deep. Only knew about KCV and obviously the recently notorious Commie patch.

I already worried ever since the commie patch came out. I got a bad premonition regarding that and then suddenly this shitstorm. I mean I don't really think it is completely their fault but what they did triggered a huge flag.

As far as I know KCV uses IE cache. What I did is just increase the cache size to 1024MB as recommended and so far it has been a smooth sailing with KCV. There isn't any noticeable lag, and at least as fast as my flash projector or browser. Not to mention the information window pretty much remove the need for me to switch between the in-game panels to check on the status of things since KCV keeps log of the info from your last visit to the individual panel. It's really a boon when you're managing 4 fleets and 2 expeditions and need to monitor the repairs and fatigue from continuous sorties

Oh and with the latest update, they've implement notifications for w7

Yeah I suppose commie did stir the beehive...though we can't be sure if the recent updates are directly related to them, or perhaps it's a long overdue countermeasure against the actual cheaters (you know, like those teitoku putting 46cm main guns on their loli destroyers ). Only time would tell how things will proceed from here. I'd like to keep my hope up that we can play relatively calmly. I never heard of sanaechan so I couldn't comment that.

I also wonder: is stage rollover refer to how they gate the login after each maintenance i.e. letting people in batch by batch?

You need around 925px height to see the full details without the need of scrolling, if you screen height resolution is lesser than that then you need to scrolling to see them

and regarding the 20hr API link, I don think its true, because I'm using my API link for more than 20hr, to be exact is around 34hr and it's still valids

Uhh, no...you misunderstand me....
I meant even back when there was WoW, I never pay to play monthly to play online games such as WoW or invest money in a free to play online game. Kancolle is the first that actually make me cough out hate money on a monthly basis even when I can actually play for free.

But I did play WoW on a private server before. Molten-WoW to be exact. Played for a few months and then stopped. LOL.

So far I've spend 2k yen on Kancolle. I'm limiting myself to only 1 expansion slots per month now, or else 10k yen will be gone out of the window within a few clicks.

No, I just dragged the window size as I see fit, like how you drag a normal window to change the size. Oh, don't use it on full-screen/maximised mode, or you can't adjust the window size.

The only tampering I did on the readme file is to update my API key

Well my mastery of moon runes are not high enough for me to use the original ones...but hopefully one day I would be able to play the game, and also other Japanese games, in their original language. You can say that Kancolle and also Love Live SIF serve as a platform for me to get to know more kanji
