I think Kadokawa do gain aplenty from their web games as well. But more so from their official merchandises. Already almost spend about 5000 yen unlocking docks and repair docks. Maybe even more to unlock more ship slots.
Though of course a true teitoku would also have some official merchandise as well. Got some artbooks, doujinshis, dakis and other things I think is best keep under wraps. *cough cough.

Also I think they couldn't risk it at first opening to international market due to server limitations, maintenance cost and whether the game would be a hit with foreigners. Also DMM web audience are mostly Japanese although recently they have allowed some content to be accessed internationally under their English website but still their web games are still not accessible through their english site and foreign IP. Also, most Japanese game companies tend to keep their game very localized as well. But from the looks of it, with amount of official merchandise being sold and committed teitokus making in-game purchases, their server has improved tremendously and the flash player has much better coding now. I remember at one time changing ships/equipment was lag like hell.

I really do hope DMM remove the limitation on web games and allowed foreigner to accessed their web games(or at least Kancolle) page without the need to use VPN or proxy server connections. But oh well, very unlikely.

It is still available in amiami and it's kinda an official dakimakura collab between Kadokawa and Cospa. Also, it's SFW unlike those custom daki made during C85. Plenty of those NSFW dakis are available in Yahoo Auction Japan. :3

I just assume that idea because after all, money is what drives the world around, right. If they really cut all those foreigners who paid to play kancolle, they would lose us cash cows. Also, if you are lucky and your daki is below 15,000 yen, then yes it is possible to bring in. It is dependent on the kastam that day and your luck....so far I have no daki/nsfw items detained. Yet.

not necessarily need sub,try to reach the boss with as little damage to you ship. then you would have better chance, if RNG fairies decide to bring you a whole tour around the map, retreat, rest up and try again. Then again your fleet be best at lvl 30 & above & remodeled if possible (& modernization), get some anti air, and pray hard.

i did mine with ,2 BB, 2 CV(with some green planes), & 2 CLT (kyo hoteki A) avg level 30+

try go defensive formation all the way till you reach the boss.
