where you live ? Over in MD their doing maintenance. I think it's something to do with upgrading for ipv6 hmm.gif

i'm guessing if your issue happen today, maybe it could be related to unifi maintenance. Try call their support to find out.

The Fibre Optic line will not struck by lightning but the power source to DIR-615 can be struck by lightning. So, a power socket with lightning strike protector require. laugh.gif

hey guys, does your silver Huawei Unifi Modem lights on the lan flickers actively even if you have stopped all internet usage? Is it normal? Or Unifi have some backdoor program running? I have checked there is no person using the internet through the modem wifi user statistics.

I thought so, but then most of the other sensitive equipment in the house will be affected to. I'm glad our fuse box's trip switch is very sensitive, during large storms it frequently trips and cut the power supply before any damage to the house equipment could be inflicted. biggrin.gif

You've been leaving your BTU on 24/7 right? The thing about fiber is that you need power in order to use the phone.

Or it could be performing a software update? If it still does that after a few days then it might be something else.

Thanks for the reply. Meaning once I apply the package I can have 5 phone number to use?
Do I need extra device for this to work and pay extra monthly charges?

Where can I find more information? Thanks a lot.

Sometimes if very low quality electrical equipment suddenly off or suddenly on due to trip or overpower when on without stabilizer has some percentage to cause faulty. Another possibility is lightning directly strike on the fiber optic "which has the most lowest % to be happen, even it happen the fiber optic cable will break into half & not only modem burn just like lightning directly strike on a human being if you are very very very unlucky" but human body is big, fiber optic cable is slim & tiny which need very high accuracy. laugh.gif

I have L7 with 1.01 firmware. Port forwarding should be working with 1.06. Double check your settings?
