According to China Visa website, you don't have to apply for visa if you are just making a transit at the airport.

https://www.visaforchina.org/SGP_EN/general...ge/258911.shtml

4. Foreigners who have confirmed onward tickets and seats on international flights and directly transit through China and stay for no more than 24 hours within the airport boundaries do not need to apply for a transit visa. However, anyone desiring to go beyond the airport boundaries temporarily should obtain permission from the immigration authorities at the airport.

If everyone goes well, within one day.

But nowadays due to high number of overseas malaysians illegally staying in Australia, not so easy to get eta. Often asked to submit more documents before approval.

Best apply as early as possible

I think you need min 6 month to check-in on the date of departure. Better renew your passport than sorry since it only take 1 day to renew.

1. Ticket check in counter will reject you
2. You reach SK, immigration will reject you. You wait in the airport till next flight back.

Usually, with some pleading Malaysian immigration and airline staff will let you though but there is no guarantee the country you are traveling to through will do the same.

I have traveled with a friend in the same circumstances, he got through and came back without issues.

I'm applying visa to US for tourism, I have bought my airtix and afraid that I will get rejected.

What are main factors that determine my visa application? I read online someone said it based on whether they think you will come back to Malaysia or not?

I graduated less than a year but have a steady job in a MNC right after graduate. My salary is lower than 3k. I only have 1 Myvi as my current commitment. Based on you guys experience, is my requirement too low and will be easily rejected?

Hi, does anyone know if I can renew my passport using credit card? The website stated that applicants can either use credit or debit, but the only option i see is FPX which is online banking.

Thanks.

i have already tried, although the website says that credit card is accepted,
the option is not available for applicants to choose, only FPX is available.

Thanks anyway. smile.gif
