Never tried both, tho. Not really going to miss them either.

Prefer eating at either Sushi Zanmai, Go Noodle House or Putien when I happen to be there.

Chinese from mainland  china that can come here to tourist are mostly
1. Rude AF
2. Unhygienic AF
3., Rich AF
*
Those China tourists that fulfil those 3 criteria are actually countryside folks whose land were bought by the Chinese gov't for development purposes. Became 'instant' millionaires as a result of that. Hence they've got the moolah to travel and shop like no tomorrow while displaying their uncouth behaviour at the same time.

I see bro, thanks tor thr thumbs up. Yuanlai like dis. Haha attitude cant change uh
*
They tend to be rough folk, so yeah, don't expect them to change overnight just because they got a sudden influx of cash from their gov't.

Those who are white collar workers/professionals who come here to work or for business trips (not to mention tourists from this segment) tend to be more civilised. Talk about a stark contrast here.

Actually when you think about it, you already know most buyers are investors, Me myself is a buyer as well, and I've asked other buyers on this. 80-90% are all investors.
*
I'm aware that there will be investors who purchased a unit in this project.

But I'm not among them, though. I bought for own-stay.

If you ask me, I'm not really fussed on who bought a unit here for what reason.

So few? I thought Block A is fully sold and Block B only left a handful of units?

There probably must be a few other owners group out there in fb and elsewhere... hmm.gif

Reminds me of the chatgroup set up by the building manager at Jasmine Court (low-rise walk-up apartments) where my wife used to stay. Everyday for sure will highlight issues/complaints from time to time and sometimes if it takes a while, then they complain a lot.

hey guys is this still a good buy? have the price gone down recently? i'm new to this zero knowledge but i find living in this property can easily just go downstair can reach the mall already. very nice smile.gif
*
For me, it's a good buy due to the connectivity to the mall itself and both the Maluri LRT/MRT interchange and Cochrane MRT station (which is connected to MyTown Mall if you don't mind the long walk towards it). You'll still have to walk to the mall via the link bridge connecting to the 2nd floor commercial lots of this project, so it's not exactly exit from one of the lift lobby and you'll be right inside the mall.

But do explore the area to see if you can accept the surroundings or not. The Restoran Queen nearby tend to be full of cars rampantly parking at the sides for those who go there to eat and skip the parking in both this mall itself and NSK in Plaza 393 across the road from the former. In terms of road access, Jln Cheras tend to be jammed frequently regardless of what day as the traffic lights at the intersection is the cause of the bottleneck, but there are other roads to bypass it such as the road heading to Shamelin Star to name a few (Cheras bound direction). There are also a few roads heading towards this project and KL direction which will also bypass Jln Cheras too.

I bought mine at 780 psf, and now latest phase average at 950 psf. Do you think it is a bad investment ? I plan to get my family members to buy two more units, join us for extra discount !
*
Got mine at around RM 870/sf (after rebates) for a Block B unit, and it's a Cheras facing one. Wanted to get the KL-facing one, but since it'll be blocked by the adjacent rectangular plot which has a high-potential of becoming a high-rise, had to go for the latter one instead. At least I can still enjoy the KL view by going to the rooftop facilities floor and look out from there. thumbup.gif

Also looking forward to know what Phase 2 looks like and how much it costs. Not because I want to buy one, but more to helping my parents choose a suitable unit there.

Tower C layouts are based on best selling dual key layout of tower A and tower B.

We target to group purchase the best layout again. Anyone interested to join us ?

Phase 2 of this project is called 'Tower C'? blink.gif

Thought they'll normally revert to Tower A and B for a new phase.

Any sufu know where the location for Sunway Velocity 3 and how many floor Sunway will build?
*
Are you referring to Sunway Velocity 2 Phase 2 block? It's the V-shape plot across from it's Phase 1 that you see in the scale model if you happen to pay a visit to the sales gallery.

According to the sales staff who attended to me when I booked a 969sf Phase 1 unit in Block B, he mentioned that it will be 2 blocks angled in a V-shape and it's shorter by around 50 storeys or less. As for it's pricing, a few above mentioned that it will be around RM 950/sf, but if you want a more accurate figure, it's best you sign up via Sunway Property's fb page or go into it's official site and sign up there. A Sunway sales staff will give you a call or msg you on this.

too expensive
if not will think on it

It's okay.

But there are other options nearby which are cheaper such as Platinum Mira, Parc3 and illi where the latter 2 are past the river. For the latter 2, just be aware that the surroundings are a bit dodgy and run down.

i think still okay la... illi area now also redeveloping.. parc 3 there at least not side by side with the low cost apartments further inside... mira also dodgy enough previously with the land before hoarded up also full of drug addicts and beggars sleep there previously... lol... just that luckily with lavile and refurbished aeon... everything looks better abit...

if anyone interested to own shoplot/ retail lot... can consider the illi's retail blocks... very good potential and the pricing quite reasonable for matured area...
*
I remember that for those shoplots in and around Mira itself, a number of eateries and small businesses there open during the day, but at night, it's really quiet. The only part which is bright is where the bank branches are located. Reminds me of those shoplots surrounding Shamelin Star.

If more eateries and cafes (those that open until 10pm, that is) open up around there, I'm sure it'll liven up the area and make it more appealing.

yea... but i guess it wont already... now will be lighten up with condos lightings...  laugh.gif  laugh.gif and future completed sunway velocity 2 lighting as well haha
*
Well, you never know what will happen there once all these projects are completed. Maybe what I said will happen (or not), or some shoplots in a row ended up being bought by a developer and demolished to build a high-rise, like what happened to a few shoplots in a row that were torn down to build a 20+ storey hotel, effectively blocking the view of the 6 Capsquare Condo units below 25th floor.
