TRX is the crucial missing puzzle to connect all areas around like bkt Bintang, KLCC, Velo to become big lake and eventually will speed up the development at sleepy chan sow lin. Without TRX this missing puzzle, Velo is just a small kolam there.

My perspective here is purely for investment purpose only. I do have to agree that the success of SV2 depends a lot on TRX's future. It is all about job creations in the area, To be frank, it is not the most ideal place to raise a family. Sunway Velocity caters for those in the middle income group who is better off paying around 2-3k rental rather than spend long hours in commute. In this area with high supply, i just hope that Sunway properties can command the premium as UEM Sunrise could in Mont Kiara.

Sunway good in their own business component like Hospital, education and mall (Pyramid and Velocity)... but for their residential developments.... not many can be categorized as successful.... Maybe only Sunway City (especially GEO series) can be said successful... other than that just OK OK.... for sure Sunway wont abandoned their project.... in term of architecture design ...hmmm just very plain and old fashion.

 Jalan Cheras View... Street and pedestrian walkway has upgraded alot especially sunway velocity here. Looks vibrant and young. Underground mrt still better than elevated mrt. Can enjoy aircon while waiting at station. This post has been edited by wotpian: Jul 15 2022, 11:10 PM

So true. The moneyed areas already have options that are similar in price to many new launches but people still flock to these great pretenders. Hope the surrounding here can slowly upgrade. For now The only upper hand for this area compare to DPC, Sri Hartamas and MK is only the mrt stations and lrt station connectivity.
Before sunway IKEA mytown came to this place, it was quite a rundown and dodgy area. Back then even Leisure mall area was better than here.
