if you're a basshead, I'll advise you to go ahead and buy Logitech.. Altec's bass is not really suitable for bass heads anyway (based on my assumption of u using VS4121.. j/k) .. tongue.gif

I wanna ask 1 question, you do gaming more or music more?
If gaming, then i no comment.
But if music, you can save half(i think) of the price of audigy thingy to get a Philips PSC805 Aurilium.
Its an USB sound card, that work perfectly for music.

No ler.. just a suggestion.. haha.. tongue.gif I'm fine with my MX5021.. just that I miss my headbanging sessions with my old Edifier headbanger.. laugh.gif

MX5021's bass is loud too, just that the sub doesn't cut in too early to make R&B/techno music sound sweeter.. tongue.gif

Narkon, it's not lacking of bass actually for the price range, better sounding speakers will cost more but for the price, CS21 is really a good buy. You can't get other speakers at that price range that sounds as decent as CS21. Be happy with it, CS21 ain't too bad. If you're wanna change the subwoofer, I dun think it's feasible b'coz of the price involved, it's better to get another better set of speakers if you need to spend a fortune on a better subwoofer.

tongue.gif the higher end your speaker is, the milder the bass. You should be really proud of your CS21 as i'm still using an atp3.

Hi...AL621 user here... got it from a garage sale for RM150.

Previously using AL CS21 - at first thought it sound great - good treble and midrange although to my ears a bit wolly. Bass is OK for its range.

Then I plug in the 621 and ....Wow.... sweat.gif

treble is clear, marvelous midrange ...and bass is solid without the boominess...And the imaging is very open thumbup.gif .... Paired it with a M-Audio 192 sound card....so the 621 is good enough for my home studio PC...

Was previously using Promedia GX2.1 - Terrific bass but the satellite speakers way too sharp for music listening and mid-range almost none existent so sold it off after two days.....

all the AL old model like ACS45.1, ADA885, 621 are really marvelous and respected. i really respect the AL main designer. too bad... after he pass away quality drop already. if the main designer still alive, AL is the king of PC speaker already. tongue.gif
