using ATP 3 now....planing to upgrade to altec 5.1 soon....

any recomended model....using more for song and watching movies...

I have been using Altec Lansing speaker for my computer for about 6 years already, old model 221 and it still sounds nice, a little bassy IMO. Then, I also own 2 set of headset from AL also, AHS502 and the other one, forget what model already. So far, the headset works with a little faulty on the volume adjuster. Sometimes, I need to readjust it to get both channel works. Any one encounters same problem?

wanna ask. any fx 5021 user here who face sound quality degradation after using the speaker or a while?

Hi all, i just got myself a MX5021 paired with x-fi fatality gamer pro sc. So far im quite stisfied with it, well since its my 1st set of speakers, hahaha. But ive read saying this newer version has benn downgraded to cheaper/worse components so sound quality was compromised . . . are there any way that i could improve it?

Buy better speaker cable, don't use the tiny stock cable. SQ will improve a little.

Oh i see, ya i was quite stunned to see such thin cables for the speakers . . . where could i get these audio cables? I really dunno anything ragarding audio stuffs. Btw sawa mx5021 mod on a blog by jimmy, looks damn cool . . . roughly wat would it cost to do such mod as his????

One word=HUGE, VS2421 is around Rm100++ only I think, whereas the MX5021 is like Rm550 xD SQ wise of coz the MX5021 beats the VS2421 no doubt, the bass of MX5021 is way way way stronger than the VS2421, no need to compare actually, the MX5021 excels in all field

Actually those cap & cable was cheap, its just cost me SG2.xx only. If you want to mod, wait till your warranty over 1st.

New MX5021 user here as well. Ex user of VS4121, C3. Decided to buy S530 and bought this one instead.
Nice purchase. Bass is nice and soft, clear sound.

I have used mx5021 for 1 year...
Now,... got a bit problem..
I wanna ask... why the treble goes to top while 1 on my speker...
The treble is maximum... but while i adjust the treble... the led light is on middle... i scroll abit... the sound goes to normal again..
Anyone face this problem before??? Any solution??

I guess your controller got probs ady, mine MX5021's controller also same. When i press the treble/bass button, the led light just on once then straight back to volume mode.
