ADA885(near 7 year olds) user here... wish to get a 7.1 wit my Creative X-FI soundcard.. but so sad.. altec lansing did;t have this product. zz >_<
I'm afraid only Creative has 7.1 speakers but honestly it will be very messy will all the wires everywhere. For normal gaming and movies, 5.1 is more than enough as the X-Fi soundcard can't decode DTS-ES discrete sound so the extra speakers don't really serve any purpose at all.QUOTE(JY. @ Aug 20 2007, 09:04 PM)
I have a pair of second hand CS21 and also MX5021, the difference lies in the mids and highs. For CS21, if you're watching movies or listening to music, the vocals are a bit hollow and the highs, even though is sharp but it is not as sharp as MX5021. As for the bass, MX5021's bass is a tad harder and fuller. I'm not saying CS21 is not good but if you're also into movies and music, you might wanna get the MX5021. For gaming, CS21 is excellent as games concentrate more on the background music than the vocals.
