FAR. and the price is very cheap for the sound it produce. other brand (etymotic / shure) offering same sound quality stuff will be around RM 800-RM 1099. ngbh is selling shure E4C which cost RM 1299 before discount. and that things sound on par with im716 with different sound signature.  bt how much is a modded im716.. (im716 + moding material + workmanship) can let me kno the price?? pm me oso can.. |

Hi. Altec Lansing 621 Owner here. Yes, it's an old model but still have the best sound, especially now when it is connected to a recently upgraded Audiotrak Prodigy HD2. At first I thought the sound from the speakers was quite bright when it was paired with Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1LT but after plugging in to the Prodigy HD2....
first impressions is that the pitch is truer... maybe it's my ears but the Prodigy 7.1LT don't sound pitch correct....soundstage now is wider, and there are quite a lot of details now... I guess the AL621 is an old model and since discontinued...but it maybe the ideal combination with the Prodigy HD2 now... I pray the AL621 dont die off on me....  |

i would honestly said, if im716 amped by good amp, and modded by adding lower resistor.. the sound go near to W5k(which prices RM3000)... so u can imagine urself.. pcworks had bought 2 unit, akabane also having 2 units(1 units for his sis) so u can imagine who they appreciate it.  |
