I use Google search engine randomly pick either 1 Chinese review and 1 English review. Most of the time will pick gsm arena and some YouTube.

I only saw one time GSMArena review, Galaxy Mega 6.3

and they are the most neutral imo to all OS

I read all reviews. Haha.

But not every phone they do in depth review

but yeah gsmarena certain part of their reviews sux, especially camera part. but their loudspeaker and audio quality test is good, and also their review of hardware and design aspect.


a more serious review would be from anandtech, but their focus is not on smartphones. they more on pc side

but still people always give them sammycau/applecau/sonycau so on.

Lol, seriously I can't see any different except the low light comparison

differences in the colour saturation.

but as PocketNow pointed out that in real life, we take more photos in low light and I really agree.
Check your photos or your friends photos, you might notice that more photos are actually taken indoors vs outdoor with bright sunlight.

yup. nowadays, camera on smartphones all take quite good pic under bright sunlight.

from the comparison,
i'll say there's just minor differences between the 3 under bright sunlight. but if really have to choose, i'll say the colour on ip5s excel abit.

low light and night shot... i think generally Z1 performs better

actually i have seen quite some review about the z1, and i notice everyone's expectation is too high for the z1, even myself..
like the screen, we expect it to be as good as z ultra (which it should)
camera, because sony claimed itself the best camera in android
speaker, is better than z, but ppl expect more coz the speaker look a lot bigger (actually is smaller inside)

people always forget the z1 is a smartphone, coz every time they compare the camera with the lumia 1020, they will say how the 1020 beat the z1, but i think overall, z1 is better than all of them

you get good design (though subjective but u cant deny its ugly), slim (slimmer than 1020 and galaxy zoom), good camera (not the best, but at least one of the best)
the z1 is the balance of performance, design and function...

just my opinion

maybe sony need to improve more on their customer expectation management
