i am currently using note2, i believe its slightly bigger than note3, if u get use to it, u ll enjoy the large screen and eventually get use to the size

IPS is one type of TFT LCD screen..
Good that if show it is IPS as china forumer saying it is using TN type LCD screen...turn to be very white when see from side 

just an opinion from me.
if comparing screen, then it have to be "screen", not post-process display.
turn off Bravia and turn off Dynamic display in display setting.
set to original, and see which screen is better.
to me, AMOLED is just a color reproduction.
if set to original in display setting, the screen looks dull
