To be honest, I'm actually kinda disappointed by the noise level that 1020 captured when zoom in. Guess it still cannot completely replace a dedicated camera it seems.
However, it still beats most RM 1K digital cameras and smartphones kaw kaw in term of camera performance. |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Sep 27 2013, 04:25 AM) I would rather queue for Note 3 than a Nokia Lumia 1020 at its price tag. For its overall OS performance and limitation the price tag is overpriced. agreed 1000% +100000 siifuReason is simple free samsung gear. While Nokia grip if made in china might worth RM60 or RM70 while the samsung gear can reach RM500 - RM900 2nd If u used a note 2 you know why its worth to get note 3. All my notes all mostly written by s-pen. My contacts on the phone are link to google contacts while my contacts on lumia making a mess in my live account. The main selling point is the S-pen. You can draw, you can crop, you write text, you can colour and if the s-pen is too far away from the phone it will tell you. Nokia free gifts are getting crappier and overprice now. Back then when Nokia Lumia 900 u get a free monster headset dude. Its call giving massive value but nokia value is at least we gave you something than nothing. If you have follow nokia products. Nokia practice limited stock to show that there is high demand but actually its not. Nokia store got example 30 units that the maximum sold out u need wait 1 week for stock new arrive. Samsung practice everywhere got stock until sold out. all of you who are considering buying this overpriced underpowered phone please go buy Note 3. I don't want you all mainstreaming my 1020 LOL This post has been edited by hox: Sep 27 2013, 09:50 AM |

For those of you who didn't read the manual of the camera grip, you can stop if from charging your phone by pressing and holding the battery icon/button for about 3 seconds, the indicator lights will blink twice and the grip will stop charging your phone.

QUOTE(marauderz @ Sep 27 2013, 10:57 AM) No, I mean the silicon like one. Official one fits better than the 3rd party ones in my opinion. That was with my 920 lar. Just bought Nilkin casing from tskhor just for temporally usage..The screen no longer curve like 920, right ? Scare of 920's screen protector application already |

QUOTE(Eoma @ Sep 25 2013, 11:33 PM) Correct. Nokia is testing the market for elasticity, and how many volumes they can shift at pricepoint X. and then adjust accordingly. I'm of the opinion that (given the current state they're in) they could have priced it lower. I can just say, regardless where and who, it can be done, and very strongly believe that the price can be actually much lower.Well, we'll see in one month's time. Besides, check 808 PureView thread before it's launch, if not wrong, people also worry it might go over RM2K. Pricing wise, as my experience and sources, it's very much "adjustable", whether it's country/region or decide by HQ in other countries. QUOTE(hox @ Sep 26 2013, 03:23 PM) It's not misleading, and it's didn't happen just for Lumia 1020.... many other brands and phones have the same problem. Even the recent Note 3, Ebay special deals at RM1899, that's much more difference compared it's RRP.Long ago, I bought the N81 at Nokia Store when it's just launch. After I purchased, I went down and saw a shop selling the phone RM100++ cheaper! I ask and found it's the same authorised unit by Zitron. They're not Nokia Store, so they don't have to follow RRP strictly. I've been telling few times, no need to rush; unless you really need to change your phone like, immediately. If you already bought it, then don't look back and ENJOY your phone. Some people buy things, then next day suddenly price drop or got special offer/free gift, it's also very heart-breaking; the point is, you already make the decision to buy at the price, don't look back and enjoy your purchase. Don't think about wheter it'll get cheaper or not in the future, or ppl telling you it's not worth it. It's YOUR phone, not theirs! Some people buy things, then next day suddenly price drop or got special offer/free gift, it's also very heart-breaking; the point is, you already make the decision to buy at the price, don't look back and enjoy your purchase. |

Last time used it on my N9 and the cover leaves permanent oil stains on the phone. It was common for black color N9 users and I've also read similar issues for black lumia 920. |
