I think ioi city mall 2 will have premium mall there ....

mall 2 might be something like The Gardens ...

it wasnt meant for such demography, and it shouldnt be.
We have KLCC, Gardens and Starhill, thus we dont need anymore premium retail.

Just like we have enough of highend props, what we need is more affordable houses

One word to describe this mall - boring.
Don't feels like make people wanna buy things here, no exclusive feels at all.

what kind of exclusive feel are your expecting ? Maybe we can feedback to the mall management for them to buckle up. But looking the the vicinity, dont expect KLCC or Gardens kind of store methodology. Plaza Pheonix tried to pull the premium string once in Cheras and fail tremendously years back, dont think the community here is ready for super premium brands.

Well, it might be Boring for certain ppl bcos they dont live around here, but ppl of the southern part found it to be convenient and sufficient for weekend hangout. Dont think this is the kind of mall where you travel all the way here to look for something, just like you dont drive all the way to Setia City Mall if you dont stay there.

IOI is spot on for the location. But I think it is not meant to satisfy the ppl of whole klang valley, it is just as functional for south KV ppl, save the hassle negotiating jams, wasting petrol and toll while traveling to KL..

You have no idea how important it is meant for south KV folks. IMHO.

For weekend normal shopping is good enough alr.
Unless buying some premium luxury brand else why travel all the way to Pavillion?

Ya.. some ppl dont understand, they think a "successful shopping mall" must have LV, Hermes, Rolex, Gucci etc.. As though they shop in these retail EVERYDAY

Premium Outlet.. pretty common located in outskirt, drawing folks to outskirt for bargain premium products..

This mall doesnt need luxury tenants to be a 'good mall'. Mind you infanime, MV had no luxury tenants for years n did very well.. today rental in MV is still higher than rental in the garden...

IOI City is a regional mall for South KV ppl although its not A+ grade like MV or even SP.. they will take time to be 80% as good as MV but they serve the south community very well..
