Don't know where u got the idea south KL folks go to MV. Normally they'll go to shop at IOI Mall Puchong or Mines Shopping Mall, excluding those AEONs.
*
I am KL south .. can confirm we used to go MV if we want to go for bigger mall to get more stuff especially bigger brands like Uniqlo, Daiso.. eating atas food like Tony Romas, Sushi etc. Occasionally Aeon Cheras South for movie (better comfortable environment). Never go Mines, tenant like low class. Leisure Mall sorry la. Cheras Sentral only once or twice after revived. Metro Kajang cannot make it. IOI Puchong too far for Serdang Kajang Semenyih Cheras folks.

With IOI City Mall, yes seldom go MidV adi.. I speak the same for my family here who live in southeast of KV. I think it definitely help folks living around Hulu Langat, the 2nd highest population in Selangor according to 2010 census.

There is no Jam during weekends, but crowd is still huge.

We will still go MidV, but the frequency definitely cut down.

same to any other malls.. Pyramid flooded with loitering students..

IOI City Mall Tesco and HomePro quite a lot of buyers.. eateries are full.. Only Parkson is like haunted area

Morganfields need to arrive early during weekends.

totally agree with u, a lot of people from serdang, kajang, putrajaya, puchong, cyberjaya, dengkil, salak tinggi will see ioi city mall as wonderful place to hang out with families and friends.

but if let say i stay in damansara, gombak, sungai buloh, etc...i would not want to go all the way to that mall for leisure purposes

Ya.. some ppl dont understand, they think a "successful shopping mall" must have LV, Hermes, Rolex, Gucci etc.. As though they shop in these retail EVERYDAY

FNB so little outlet can survive?

any idea IOI City mall phase 2 will be a reality soon or not?
*
its a premium outlet, not like ordinary shopping mall..
you dont go there for food, you go there to shop premium brand at bargain price.
those FnB is just to fill up your stomach incase u get hungry. But the only thing is the FnB dont give discounted price.

i have been to premium outlet in japan, singapore n hong kong, they are like this punya.

If you like outlet shoppings in Japan ansd Hong Kong, wait till u shop at outlet place of origin USA.

2 luggages full just now enough, trust me.

1 of the US outlet they have 220 outlets!!! their POLO RL is even cheaper than Padini...
*
Correct.. these are where branded bargains are found.

I bought a couple of RL and Adidas from Japan premium outlet, and G2000 from Spore outlet.. G2000 was f dirt cheap.

IOI City mall dont need premium luxury shops.. Buying from shopping mall AD with full price are for suckers.
