QUOTE(UFO-ET @ Nov 17 2014, 09:12 AM) IOI City mall - 1.4 mil Disagree.PARADIGM OUG - 1.0 mil (estimated) Pavillion BJ - 2.1 mil Vs Mid Valley - 1.65 mil Garden - 1.0 mil If we study the location of all the malls in entire KV, then we shd know that MV crowd is very much depends on the people who live below federal highway till KLIA Conclusion - among the Big 5 (Sunway, MV, 1U, KLCC, Pavillion), once the southern 3 new malls in operation, MV will be heavily affected Just a personal view One of the advantages of MV is that it's catchment areas are mostly without the need to pay toll. Also, it is easily accessible via various public transport mode. Among the 5 you mentioned, probably Sunway could be affected the most. On another notes, I dont think neither 5 of them will be affected much in long run by IOI City Mall since the latter is catered more for KL Southern fringe crowds. |

Been to IOI CIty mall. Quite impressed by its layout and spaciousness. Many retails on the offer, though cater more for low to high-medium range.
Will foresee this mall to become prominent once its surrounding starts to develop more. May take another 2-3 years. |
