Just a tip to those who want to buy from ebay : make sure your bank has preapproved your creditcard or paypal for online transaction. If not if you faced a bank decline message on checkout, by the time you get bank to approve you might already lose the chance. However if you have dealt with this seller before this is not an issue as your transaction will go through smoothly

can use credit card directly to pay to eBay or must go thru paypal? I think so far i normally use paypal for ebay item coz they are small amount.

Some sellers may only accept PayPal, from what I've seen on ebay listings.

You mean if we have done online transaction before, it should be fine right? I mean, it's not like we need to verify eBay separately or something right?

NOT necessary as sometimes the bank will decline due to seller's database is not in bank records. I would say about 10-20% of the time I make a purchase from a new seller , I gets a bank decline message. Leceh-lah, than I have to call bank and ask them to approve it. Subsequent purchases from same seller will be OK than. I buy at least 5-6 times a month from ebay and this is what I encountered. My paypal is tied to my Maybank Visa card and for other banks , no idea how they work

Ya, if you often buy from eBay or pay with paypal, it's ok. Like mine, credit card already expired, have to update first before buy.

If I link my CC with paypal, do I need to inform my bank or just get it done from paypal website?

Seems MayBank more tied.

Mine get instant process as long I use a certified credit card in Paypal, I mean get authorize to use in Paypal.

All transaction went thru so far. In between, I am using CIMB Credit Card.
