My Galaxy S2 also sudden death. SME can only offer to replace the entire PCB for RM650. Independent repair shops checked and didn't want to work on it. It's as though Samsung designed the chip in for 2 years obsolescence.

I rather trash the phone when PCB dead
Pointless to replace PCB for RM6XX where I can get a reliable xiaomi laugh.gif

Earlier someone pointed out... S series is like the white rats for Note series

Now N3 is the first phone to use the new 3GB RAM and the first to use fast EMMC.

Time will tell

I just notice this

"Disclaimer: The following preview is based on a pre-production Galaxy Note 3 and by explicit request by Samsung we won't be posting any camera samples (even though these are really good and look better than the ones from Note II and the Galaxy S4). We won't be conducting our usual suite of tests either. We'll leave those for a later occasion when we get a retail review sample."

Cool! means final probably will be getting much better result. smile.gif

Curious, is it a normal practice to have the NFC antenna embedded in the battery, rather than the device itself? hmm.gif

From SG Note 3 manual:
"The battery contains a built-in NFC antenna. Handle the battery carefully to avoid
damaging the NFC antenna."

Due to removable back-cover

Want to know whether to buy SP or not for SN3.
