ive reported this to SC.. its actually just the latch. u can diy if u want..
just adjust the latch..but becareful.. once i adjusted, boot cannot open..
have to press many times while lifting the boot..haha..lucky me.
in my case, i ahve to adjust the latch upwards/towards myself when standing behid the car.

Proton knows about this? Next service I ask them to look at boot latch as well then.

I'm having this problem too. I did try adjusting the latch, but sometimes I still need to pull the lever (or press the key fob unlock button) twice or more to open the boot.

One way to make sure the boot opens is to press down the boot door a bit while pressing the key fob unlock button.

its so funny when i recall the 1st time i complain abt it, the pomen said it's normal.
1st press is to activate the actuator, second is to release.

the problem was there since i got the car 2months back.
when i put gear to R, the beep triggers like something is there.only the rear RHS.
pretty dangerous to me coz sometimes terkejut.hahah
