And do something 2uphold their international reputation...

Frankly this kinda error is simply ridiculous & unacceptable of an international brand name!!

Probably a few ppl in the factory were negligent...
1. Guy i/c of changing info in that part of the mould;
2. Supervisor who didn't chk everything in order b4 start production;
3. QC guy who closed both his eyes & passed the products!
And, of course, TOP management oblivious of goings-on and wondering why GY sales not doing well.... whistling.gif

ps. The production batch dated same for both, namely 1613 ie 16th week of 2013.

My bet...force transfer to outer sidewall always > inner sidewall, thats why outer sidewall 2 plies VS inner sidewall 1 ply... tongue.gif

I dun think it could have such discrepancy..

All 4 out of 4 printed the same thing? Or only 1? sweat.gif

Yup, acc2 tyre shop guy, those with 16" & above come with 2-ply sidewalls. .. tongue.gif

ps. He showed me other makes of 14" (incl 2pc Mich) with only 1 ply...

What about the manufacturing date for:

The 2 tyres with 1-ply printed on both sidewall VS 2 the "funny" tyres?

It could be spec running change during its production life-cycle. sweat.gif Just like our SV MT got 2 version of meter + gearbox... doh.gif

Fixed.

Anyway, it depends on manufacturer spec la, 2 plies resulting in better handling due to less sidewall flex.
