Just want to ask for advice, I took over a 2010 saga blm.
Current issues with cars: 1. Noticeable iafm sound. 2. Squeeky sound from front right area. Likely to be suspension
Warranty expiring in 1 month. I went to ask the sc that I regularly go for servicing, they said iafm ok, and need few days to identify the squeeky sound.
Not satisfied with the response, I went to another sc, which has good reviews from internet/forum. The sc boss confirmed iafm & suspension and said can be replaced under warranty. However refused to do the warranty for me because I never sent car to them. He suggested me to go to coe in shah alam straight.
I just want to ask is it worth to go to coe? Will they change iafm and suspension under warranty? Because I dont to waste my leave if they cant do it
Thanks a lot in advance
What BS is this, if your car was consistently serviced at any Proton branch or authorized SCs, they must honor the warranty even if you have never serviced your car with them.
I suggest that you call up WeCare and COE to enquire further before you go, namely, if those items can be replaced under warranty and how long it will take, as well as making an appointment before going. If you are entitled to a warranty claim, I also suggest that you file a complain against that SC with WeCare.

Ya.. to be honest I was disappointed and pissed off when they gave me those responses. But I chose not to argue because afraid they might do 'bad' things to my car in future.
Thanks for the advice. I will give coe a call first. Sorry didnt know much about as its my first time handling a proton

immobilizer u mean ? immobilizer is the small chip like thingy inside ur key case.
There are 19 appointed Proton Edar body & paint dealers nationwide, we are doing it in-house. About branch? I'm not too sure, usually they sub out to contractors (quality I dun know).
Looking at your car damage, you want to claim insurance or cash repair? There isn't imitation doors for all Proton cars, you can go anywhere to have it repaired actually. Workmanship is another issue, especially on the paint. All Proton Edar dealers are using Sime Kansai paint for the repair work.
Noted on that..anyhow, I've sent my car today for insurance claim at Senawang branch...really huge and new...still need 2-3 weeks at least to settle this, need to clear first claim form, then need to arrange time for insurance person to come and confirm on damage, then wait again until claim approved..then only can send car for total door replacement+paint..

If immobilizer kong won't even hear any sound when you crank.
Your problem sounds like flooded combustion chamber.
so does it normal or i need go to proton service center?
sorry... im not pro in carÂ
If it's combustion chamber flooded, the solution is to NOT twist back to "ACC" after a unsuccessful crank. Just release the key back to "ON", then crank again.
Ignore the keyhole rim light, Saga does not come with it so don't ask why your car don't have that light

Get Golf Mk7 GTi better. If it's combustion chamber flooded, the solution is to NOT twist back to "ACC" after a unsuccessful crank. Just release the key back to "ON", then crank again.

Plotong magician does everything BY THE BOOK. If you have hard time to start, their book tell them to load up certain module, to increase fuel rail pressure by adjusting fuel regulator. You'll have even harder time to start the next time Can you recall, before you send for service ask them to tune your car it wasn't that bad? And figured lately the problem became serious? Almost everytime you try to start the car it will like Wuekekeke no start...
Then you turn the key off. You try again Wuekekekekekekekeke no start again. You start to worry
Then you turn the key off. You did try again Wuekekekekekekekekekekekeke You almost curse everyone in Plotong the hell they deserve to die young for cheating people money by selling a flawed car
You were mad. Turn the key to OFF. You swear to God you're going to turn the car ON NOW! You try to start again together with stepping on the gas pedal "Wuekekekekekeke.... kekekekeke(faster as you step on the gas pedal)....kekekekeke(slower as you release the gas pedal)....kekekekekeke(faster as you step on the gas pedal again).....kekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke" At this time, you're probably thinking how much does the car worth if trade in used car dealer
As you were given up went back home took a shower after sweating your face like fall into toilet bowl. Later you've forgotten the incident wanted to go out for dinner, Wukekek VROOM! Uih?! It started normally
Added on Here's the solution
DO NOT PANIC! Fortunately, Plotong ECU runs at the conventional memory. It will erase all the loaded program by driver's experience. You can train the car to suit your gangnam style. If Plotong set you to Wuekekekekekekeke for century also kenot start, you can train it back to 1 kick immediately start. But you need to give it time. The correct way as below:
Your standard start car procedure should be like this: 1) Turn key to ACC, proceed to ON. Wait for 2 seconds, listen to the fuel pump channel fuel to your engine, something like "TEEEEET". 2) Once the TIT sound gone, you can proceed to twist the key to START. Then you'll hear the starter sound "Wuekekeke" Usually it takes up to 3 times "KEK" sound because that is the complete cycle for your 4 stroke engine. 3) If your car started normally, after "Wuekekeke" then will proceed to "Vroom". However, other circumstances is after "Wuekekeke" but the engine not on. Usually people will switch the key all the way back to OFF! DO NOT DO THAT. Everytime you switch the key to OFF, the next time you turn the key to ON again, your fuel pump will pump in more fuel to your engine. 4) The correct manner, if step no.3 does not start the car after 1st trial "Wuekekeke", you'll just need to release the key from START. It will fall back to ON. All you gotta do is, slam your forehead on the steering wheel, twist the key to START again. This time, hold on to START. It should sound like "Wuekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke..." Finally, "babababab beebababadopop bee bab bab ba da pop" and it start.
5) If after crank for 5 minutes straight still not starting.... Please call Plotong WeCash get a tow truck. It aint gonna start until the real problem being rectify. It must have mechanical/software failure within the engine already
Please also read dares ciggy for general troubleshooting guide. Some times can't kick start at the 1st shot could probably because of timing belt putus. In that case, you DO NOT continue crank your starter or it's going to cause more damage to the engine.
Why is GaGa so malanfan? Seriously, it's because GaGa was race car teknologi. The fuel injectors are soo damn big until everytime u off the car, there will still be some excessive fuel dropped into your combustion chamber. Unfortunately, the sparkplug already put to rest as you off the engine, unburnt fuel stuck on the spark plug hence the next time you start your car, it may not be immediately turned on for the first complete cycle of "Wuekekeke". This type of problem usually happened to people who always travel extremely short distance, like from house to mamak just around the corner before you can shift to 2nd gear. Or, after heavy traffic jam and you decided to stop by roadside buy cendol, come back unable to kick start the car. Or, after long distance drive, you stop by the R&R go for a pee, come back wanna continue show off your racing skill to your girl friend and figured the car refused to start
Don't curse GaGa, every single fuel injection car will have this situation, it just so happened GaGa always kena jackpot. The engine was slightly over tuned. How do you think a tiny 1.3litre engine can move such a huge ass car? Plotong can easily replace a set of smaller injector, retuned fuel regulator to lower pressure and you'll have every single shot starting the engine that does not fail. But don't blame Plotong oni give you 50 horse powah to a wantan car. Just for your knowledge, lower fuel supply does not mean your car will save fuel, it simply means you need to step harder to compensate the loss of power, you could have loss more on petrol in the long run.
Ayam tired of posting newbie guide liao, if anyone kind enough, please book mark this post, if in future more newbie need guidance, this should be a good reference liao. Lurv thy GaGa and spankiu bery marj
