Rip the panel off from your right side of the desbod. There's 10amp fuse(red) can't remember which row. You can refer to the panel, got clear diagram there stating AUDIO/RADIO or sumthing. Pull the fuse, let it rest for 10 seconds, remember to touch the fuse on the car door or wherever can conduct current just to discharge whatever ion you passed to the fuse. Plonk back the fuse, by right that should reset your player and you shall play MP3 again whistling.gif Bear in mind, all your radio station preset will lari after you pull fuse. But for the sake of listen to MP3, no choice lar gotta gibit a try geh

Drive slowly, slower than 20km/h, gently on the throttle.

Then release the throttle -> press throttle again -> release throttle again etc...

With the right timing you will experience the same kind of jerk on a manual car when you are on first gear and doing the same throttle action.

The jerk is due to the CVT staying at low gear during stop-go traffic and reluctance to upshift unless you have accelerated pass a certain speed.
*
Deswai I sei right foot plobrem. If given enough time like Ms.Ruby, adjust butt sensitivity and right foot action, he adapted to the CBT character liao hoh, very hard for him to create the jerk anymore.

Release brake pedal, let the car start to roll forward, gradually increase gas pedal action. Try to recall when you go for Gancil dribing test at JPJ, how you release your clutch pedal and after that slowly increase your gas pedal. It's the exact same function. Only thing is, CBT is AUTOMATIC basis, so you don't release half of your brake pedal whilst applying gas pedal. You need to give the car enough time to bite the clutch by releasing your foot brake in the first place. Then slowly apply gas pedal. There's a sweet spot on the gas pedal, every individual will find it different as different sprint appetite. I can do it real slow with least jerk cause I've used to manual car. There must be 1 point that you accelerate hard enough the car start to crawl forward, and you release it gradually so the CBT will continue its momentum by adjusting the driven pulley.

Talk is cheap, pls cum for TT ask those CBT taiko drive you around. You'll be surprise how cum they don't jerk your car rclxub.gif

Yea, this CVT characteristic can't be tamed totally. If it stopped jerking, that's because the CVT trained you, not the other way around icon_idea.gif

Get it replaced again. Replace until it stops. That's the only way.

Or go find a BLM drumbrake and replace with it.

doh.gif don't simply introduce Miss in here, nanti iskazulka "gatal" sini dan sana brows.gif whistling.gif

Ok, yeterday after work stuck at LDP @ KJ LRT there. So manage to try to replicate the jerk.
Can tell it is still there, BUT effect is very minimal.
Minimal until my butt no longer sensitive to it unless I go looking for it.
Yes, driver adapted to CBT or CBT trained driver <<< whichever 1st
After 20k km or so, you would have ignored it and stopped complaining about jerks.
Because you hated it so much in the beginning, you have adapted to changing your driving style.
You will slowly learn to release brake, gently and slowly step gas pedal. That will do the trick icon_rolleyes.gif

I reckon manual drive before switching to CBT will adapt and learn faster ?
because you already know how to find the sweet spot in when + how to step gas and to release by driving manual.

After 20k km or so, you will start to admire CBT for its "buttery smooth" acceleration and normal driving experience.
When you hit the highways, you will go GUNKER style and you will love it as well.

for now bear with the CBT, after you have adapted to it, then blast your music and enjoy the CBT

Hey guys,
I'm planning to get either a Saga SV cvt or the exec model. Any good car dealers to recommend around Damansara pj area? I'm planning to visit either the mutiara damansara or taman megah branch. Thanks
*
Think it is not the dealer that matters.
It is the SA that matters.
You don't deal with the SA company. You deal with the SA.
If good SA, you don't need to worry about anything at all.
My SA was pretty good for its service although let me cut his komisen by 500.
He will tell me about the progress like bank loan approved, what rate, ask ok or not.
Then JPJ register there, he ask OK or not if today number start with 1/2/3.

Good dealers does not necessary mean that the SA that served you is equally good.
So go all ur nearby dealers and meet the SA.
Whichever gib u best price and service, thats the one. icon_rolleyes.gif

Tik Tak is from brake pedal. Mine also had this issue. Lazy to go fix it yet. Maybe wait till service time.

Probably a few ppl in the factory were negligent...
1. Guy i/c of changing info in that part of the mould;
2. Supervisor who didn't chk everything in order b4 start production;
3. QC guy who closed both his eyes & passed the products!
And, of course, TOP management oblivious of goings-on and wondering why GY sales not doing well.... whistling.gif

ps. The production batch dated same for both, namely 1613 ie 16th week of 2013.

Did you share your findings with GY ?
Maybe, out of embarrassment, they will compensate you with a new tyre for your spare tyre brows.gif
