looks like i made the right choice not to upgrade to 4.3. seems like so many problems already

most likely problems caused by samsung update not fully tested before going OTA. me using GE 4.3 everything working fine though occasionally have restart issues when playing with certain apps that affects the kernel such as Triangle Away. now looking for apps that can do undervoltage but non works 100%, could be caused by knox and SELinux making trouble..

To all pro user. Bought used s4 it seems device not registered yet. How to register e-waranty? Check with SC it SME.Kindly advice

not to say 4.3 is bad. or half cooked.

it seems note 3 users did not experience the problems

for me... 4.3 is actually smoother and more fluid compared to 4.2.2 in some areas.
or js a basic GUI example: notice a significant fluidity when opening and closing folders and apps.

so i would conclude that i see the potential speed up in a lot of areas.
but currently some of the laggyness in apps seems to be related to the compatibility of the old version apps in the new version firmware. which caused slow response when opening the apps / even crashing when opening.

would have to try more updated version of apps which is optimized for the current android to really conclude 4.3's performance.

ask your phone dealer to register for you.
provide him your full name, phone number, email, etc info

or you can do your ewarranty / product registration via www.samsung.com.my top right corner. you shud notice a PRODUCT REGISTRATION link. need to upload a photo of your receipt though...

few of us still testing 4.3.

not to say many problems la. but probably most of us expected a better upgrade.

but the expectation jus came short.

Have you done factory reset....after updating your 4.3 firmware..?

Knox already included since 4.2.2 on DMH6 firmware when the phone received its OTA that changed the SELinux status from permissive to enforcing.

Try PM our forummer..FallenOut...to help you register the phone ewarranty. He will need your full name..contact number and the phone imei number.

Often I get wifi disconnected. Saying network is slow and disconnected etc. Never happen before. Lately only. Any resolution?

Have you guys tried factory reset ?its very recommended to factory reset after updating to a new version

AFAIK, Samsung's updates are way much more better than any other company, in terms of stability. Not to be a fanboy, but this is based on my experience was using SE Xperia Ray and HTC One S. Both doesnt even last me more than 5 months

how to do factory reset?

i updated mine to 4.3. Have not done my factory reset as I have not spend time to backup my data. LOL
in terms of performance, it is much faster.
in terms of battery life, notice a definite improvement. Battery last longer (~2 hours more with my standard games and apps usage)

some apps are having problems loading and crashes. But a few days later there is an update to them. Probably just have to wait for the updates to come later.

Settings > Personal > Back up & Reset

Thats because not all apps are supporting JB4.3 yet.
