QUOTE(MugenK20A @ Oct 5 2013, 02:51 PM) Try to look for it at mudah.com or accessories shop. Its actually more expensive than the 6000mAh extended battery (the one tat require the fat back cover). Moreover the fat battery is frm unknown / less famous 3rd party manufacturers. Sunglobal batteries seems to be better quality. Or atleast it looks better built. I have both. But the 3100mAh shud be adaquate for medium usage. I do plug it into a car charger OCASIONALLY when im driving, but on average it still last a full day till 10pm with bout 20-30% left. Note: im actually using the lte version. This post has been edited by ahnien: Oct 5 2013, 10:14 PM |

zzzzzzzzzz....... after few days usage. felt 4.2.2 is a a bit more STABLE than 4.3.
but of course 4.3 is more fluid and smoother. but some apps crashes on 4.3 from time to time. while i did not experience any crashes on 4.2.2 b4. more over... gallery freezed and lagged after update. and i have to back up and reformat my sdcard to solve the problem. probably need to manually update some of the apps to solve the crashing problems. |

here's my update on the issues i'm having after 4.3 update.
apps random crashes - most crashes are SOLVED with manual updates / redownloading the apps, others persistent crashes could be solved with factory reset and redownloading the app gallery lag and freeze - SOLVED by backing up the sd card, and doing a reformat on the sd card. significant battery draining when using - wifi connections showing unstable - conclusion: will go for a factory reset to see if it solves the other unsolved problems. but doesnt seems related with factory reset or not This post has been edited by ahnien: Oct 28 2013, 09:41 AM |

QUOTE(hlteh @ Oct 28 2013, 10:46 AM) beside that the S Health is keep running at background and this app cant be open as it hang once you click it. this is the reason why it draining batt. android 4.3 is bad, half cooked system by samsung not to say 4.3 is bad. or half cooked.it seems note 3 users did not experience the problems for me... 4.3 is actually smoother and more fluid compared to 4.2.2 in some areas. or js a basic GUI example: notice a significant fluidity when opening and closing folders and apps. so i would conclude that i see the potential speed up in a lot of areas. but currently some of the laggyness in apps seems to be related to the compatibility of the old version apps in the new version firmware. which caused slow response when opening the apps / even crashing when opening. would have to try more updated version of apps which is optimized for the current android to really conclude 4.3's performance. |
