Yeah, using recover image would be better. You should be able to use Windows Recovery Disk creator to make it.

I think the recovery image already stored inside the device by default....................either in the eMMC or dedicated storage

Someone open the T100, found a 8GB unknown storage chip inside...............maybe it for the image

I see the option for factory reset under the Win8 right slide-in menu:

settings -> change pc settings -> update and recovery -> recovery

Remove everything and reinstall Windows
If you want to recycle your PC or start over completely, you can reset it to factory settings

This should be the uefi / bootloader option mentioned by mr. ultraman above.

Looks to be sufficient, so when the time comes can use this option. Not gonna kacau it for now since everything is running smoothly. The bloatware issue doesn't look too bad so far, most of it is the native Win8 stuff (xbox music, video, netflix etc.)

I think the feel is generally the same, just that you will notice the T100's smaller size right away. Performance wise it definitely kills the TF101, but not really fair to say since it's Win8 vs Android. 1080p playback is superb.

Screen quality wise, contrast + colour saturation is good, and it doesnt have the annoying warm cast on the TF101. Max brightness on T100 is not that impressive though, both Acer a500 and TF101 are brighter.

having some of the other Asus products, i dun think they will have lots of bloatware... unless you consider the web storage as one.

but i think can remove/ uninstall, right?

when i was at digital mall over the weekend, most say no stock and will arrive only sometime this week or next.

i think those shops with stocks... they were mainly selling them at the PC Fair.

Was there few hours ago.. they said no stock... maybe someone booked it
