I just got mine last night!
Spent the whole night charging it because they don't come pre-charged. So not much chance to play around with it much.
But overall so far, very nice!
[attachmentid=3699106]
After installing some of the apps including the Office, it's left with about 11+GB
Just buy the pack with it pre-sealed. and only ask the seller to open the package when you buy them. The Licence key should be inside.
The micro USB port is also used for charging.
So if you really need to use plenty of USB items, I suggest getting a Hub to work with the USB 3.0 on the keyboard.

Here are some of my thoughts so far
Pros:
Very Very lightweight for a full Windows experience.
Great screen display
Great battery life.
solid feel, except for it being a fingerprint magnet.

Cons:
Slow charging.
Keyboard layout needs getting used to. (I'm used to quality keyboards since I'm using a Thinkpad, which is about the same as a macbook)
Touch pad is not as sensitive as a good laptop's touchpad
Bundled Micro USB cable is short.

hmm.gif I heard that open box left around 16GB space, is that include Office? or we need install the MS Office ourselves?

We need to install it ourselves.
Gadget Zone, Gurney Plaza, Penang.

Bought it at full retail price of RM1299. Since most of the other places I went to said that they are sold out and purchase orders are needed.

Oh, And By the way, The Chip already supports 64bit.
*
hmm.gif How fast from cool boot up untill access window?

can faster than a conventional i series laptop with HDD?

hmmm..not what most of us is looking for IMO. we can always get external HDD if we want. what we need is at least 64GB internal one
*
a HDD on keyboard dock is not attractive..............we cant install apps in this HDD, otherwise plug off from the keyboard then cant access the files anymore. In this situation, TF card is better choice.

straight away get the 64GB model better

your sarcasm is directed at the wrong person. I did not proclaim that "T100 CANNOT USE sim CARD AT ALL"
*
hmm.gif your understanding confuse.................

#116 forumer ask whether T100 support LTE, but T100 has no sim slot.............cant use LTE

plug in USB sim dongle is another story

aiyo - dun say lah cant use sim card at all. say no SIM card slot. easy.  tongue.gif

anyhow Dell US starting taking orders for Dell Venue Pro 11 already

http://www.dell.com/us/p/dell-venue-11-pro/pd

USD500 = 64G emmc storage with Z3770 processor . 2G RAM with Office 2012 Home and student
USD800 = 128G SSD storage i3 4th gen processor, 4G RAM 64bit Windows 8 WITHOUT Office 2012 Home and student
UAS850 = 128G SSD storage i5 4th gen processor, 4G RAM 64bit Windows 8 WITHOUT Office 2012 Home and student
*
hmm.gif USD500 for z3770 is pricey.............I interest on Venue 8 pro, but without HDMI is really a pull back

it has full size USB. support active digitizer. 2x the storage of T100. Has built in support for optional power keyboard. not to mention swappable battery tongue.gif
*
but 64GB Asus T100 only USD399.................

Pro of Asus T100 (64GB) compare to Venue 8 pro (64GB)
- 10' screen (actually 8' also not bad)
- bundled keyboard
- HDMI out
- much cheaper

Con of Asus T100 (64GB) compare to Venue 8 pro (64GB)
- Venue 8 pro (USD500 version) use Z3770
- No full size USB on tablet
- Not support digitizer

Someone has open the T100 keyboard dock and found a steel inside. Asus purposely put in the steel under the keyboard to stable it. If it come with 500GB HDD, most probably the weight wont different much.

If your review back Asus Fonepad ( not Fonepad 7),
Games and some apps work very bad, low framerate on 720p.
If Intel still not updated their x86 to ARM library, I'm sure most of android apps have incompatibility issues.
*
smile.gif we taliking about Asus T100, not TX200..................

What about Synaptics which is what the Dell Venue Pro 8 is using... not getting good reviews though, wonder if the newest firmware fixes that.
*
not likely can solve by firmware..................

because the venue 8 pro using only 256 level of screen pressure sensitivity..................its quite low
decent should be 1024 level. Hardware problem

it like Samsung Galaxy Note (256 level) and Note 2 (1024 level) different

Still can use until 3GB what? tongue.gif

Cause for me, the sweet spot for RAM is around 4GB, once lived with 3GB for few years, quite ok also. 2GB simply feel too restrictive.
*
laugh.gif If the spec is 4GB RAM and using 32bit window...............end up only 3GB useable

The user sure complaint its a cheating, only 3GB instead of 4GB.
Dont expect every buyers are knowledgeably in computer.

tongue.gif If you are manufacturer, sure that you wont starting 4GB RAM now, right?

hmm. now im a bit tempted to buy either this one or Venue 8 pro.. what do you guys think?
*
hmm.gif if between this 2, I will choose T100.................because of DV8P has no hdmi output

you will be hardly for office purpose with 8' screen, too small.

I will choose Iconia W4 if available
