Bro..how come 500gb hdd + 24gb sdd is better than 750gb?
*
Well, larger capacity isn't always better. Its the reading speed that should be given priority.
If you need more space, external HDD are better alternatives haha laugh.gif

btw.. Illegear have different cooling system isn't it? after ROG.. want get other brand... wan get weird2 brand... else i go build desktop.. but problem is.. i owez travelling  sweat.gif

both are same or less. alienware's internal parts are armored, mainly to prevent dusts enter the mainboard. that makes the an advantage but if you are planning to rip it apart, it takes a lot of tough works. laugh.gif

as for illegear, the internal parts are 'naked', dust enters easily (main disadvantage) but therefore the parts removal are easier.

i hope the P375SM comes with 3D screen but too bad, have to wait as only P370SM only have it. sad.gif

3) HP Pavilion 14-N010AX
4) MSI CX41

Assuming you want a 14" notebook, try and look for this one:
Asus VivoBook S400CA-CA006H, i5-3317U + Intel HD4000 + 24GB mSATA + 500GB + (1366x768; touch)@RM1999[1.76kg], 4GB, W8, 3-cell

Although there are ALOT of other picks for your budget, I'm recommending this one because its pretty much the only one with a built-in mSATA SSD now. THe SSD will give you a huge boost in terms of speed  icon_rolleyes.gif

TQ TQ! biggrin.gif

I saw the laptop but ended buying something cheaper. Thanks for the recommendation though! biggrin.gif

not the brand lah doh.gif You need to see what is inside a model from each brand. For laptop used for gaming in your budget, go with as powerful a GPU as you can get.
If you just want to know the spec and RSP of the models you listed, go here:
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2656663

If your budget is around RM2k and your need is gaming, aim for models spec with GT740M.
Btw, follow the suggested format in the 1st post. Nobody know what kind of "dilemma" you are in you know cool2.gif

i dont want to clone a laptop..i just to know whether we have facing that kind of situation or not..do clone laptop really exist? like handphone, we have a clone one that look exactly the same like ori..
*
No one has bother to con by "cloning" a laptop lah smile.gif
Put it this way: Profit margin on a RM1.5k smart phone is high. Profit margin on a RM1.5k laptop is damn low laugh.gif
Profit margin for laptop normally is better on those with RM3-5k price tag, but buyers tend to be more careful when dealing with this price range.

We do come across people who don't do any research and end up paying RM2.5k for a laptop that has RM2.0k RSP though laugh.gif

On the other hand, like handphone, there are local set vs AP set, that kind of thing.

Hi, need opinions and/or reviews about this.

1. Preferred Brand : MSi
2. Budget : RM7,000 (RM8,000 max)
3. Usage : A-bit-lower-than-hardcore gaming
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 15"

I actually want to buy MSi GT60-2OD with GeForce GTX780M as the GPU. But I just can't find it (at least online) in Malaysia. I have checked Illegear RS-15 with that GPU and it costs around RM7,500 in their website. Any opinion on this? How do you think playing games with a 15-incher? Will it overheat fast? Thanks beforehand. biggrin.gif
