it turned out that my XZL battery was over-drained. last night i tried connecting my phone to pc and when i push the power button, my phone vibrated and came back to life. the battery was 1%. i quickly charged it with wall charger..

Great to hear that. But in future then be carefully.. When can't charge, phone feel warm, don't keep charging..will exploit.

When meet again the problem, must tell the service centre u met the problem before.. Request to change new set.. I believe motherboard circuit got some problem..

i just hope it wont happen again. and i will never let my battery totally drained again.

actually z and zl look like a lot manufacturing issue ......

Many of my friends using z. None of us found problem.. Only here got some people report.. Not mean overall got a lot.. I'm not sure, but only service centre do have statistic.. Depend on luck..

the day spend few hour in service center ... actually a lot z n zl having issue (including me), especially water damage one ...

Is just water resistance not water proof...
Dont try to push the water resistance to the limit....
Coz u will void the warranty even 0.1 meter of water damage..

All brand phone...got prob..but certain only facing prob..
Im sony user since w800i..last month bought s4..just use 1 week only..cause got many prob..that the 1st and the last i use samsun..then i change to xz..no prob so far...even many times drop from table..just scratch only..so far no isue with sony..

bring me ur XZ for 10 second, i guaranty ur water proof features gone,that is design failure .... no other issue, also telling us what phone u use before doesn't show u have better knowledge .....

Not all the XZs have waterproof issue man.

my XZ can swim with me without problem..try it few times dy..

i have swim with my xperia lot of time.2 times using it when snorkling.everytime picnic my xpz surely will swim with me too.not prob at all man.

lol..i already bring phone to pool..lucky no prob..

if u open flip..no need 10sec..1 sec enought d water go in.

but my back plate already loose til the power button area...zzz
but still waterproof..i guess it's time to bring it to warranty service?
