Hi i am new user of sony xperia z here.

i dont know why sony notify me got update for movies and walkman and after download it din`t install and left like that :-



It says ready to install and how i click also can`t install. Duno why .......

+ May i know how to check my Sony Xperia Z is the most latest software ?

Tick already still the same. ( previously is untick )

Just installed Sony PC Companion and updated the latest software.



But the problem of update center for Movies and Walkman applications still stuck there after it download then cannot install.



Just wanna ask u all can install the latest update for the Walkman and Movies applications as follow above software version ?

Just notice that the apps just updated and i go settings > apps > all > walkman / movies check the software number is the latest.

About the update center maby is a bug or something that keep says ready to install.

Anyway Xperia Z is quite a good phone and may i know how is u all punya battery life. Can use the whole day , few days , or few hour only .......

I updated mine yesterday app data still intact nothing lost. ( Via Sony PC Companion )

Here i want to ask is it normal for Sony Xperia Z battery performance like that ?

My battery last for 16 hour 27 minutes and my screen on time only 2 hour 43 minutes so is it normal for Sony Xperia Z.

Plus my battery STAMINA is on all the time cause i wan`t longer battery.

I only use the phone for surf web using Dolphin browser , listen to musics , some YouTube and take 5 photo today. < I only use like that today and i only can get screen on time 2 hour 43 minutes.

Is it normal and how is you all Sony Xperia Z battery performance ?

My settings all is off accept STAMINA and Auto Sync is on only. I always use Wi-Fi only.

I din`t use Google chrome because that browser is terrible or so call suck alot of thing can`t do with that browser so i change to Dolphin Browser.

Oh forget to tell u all also i don`t play games in my phone and my phone brightness is always use the auto brightness,

I give it a try for 1 week or 2 if the battery still like that then i might think jump ship to Xperia Z1.

Bro ur metal case For Sony Xperia Z can provide me with more pics cause it looks nice might consider to get 1.

My friend pernah try failed.

Use PC Companion then u can update to 2.67

I tot the lastest is 2.67 got 2.74 for Xperia Z meh ?

Did you shut down your phone then on it back and try refresh the update center there see got update anot ?

If OTA u haven`t got it then why not use PC to update then you will no need to wait till long neck.

Rooting will effect the warranty unless u know the steps how to unroot it back then there should be no problem.

If you got ghost in Sony Warranty center then u root also no effect cause ur friend can help u up if there is any problem happen after u root.

Like me i got people in HTC Warranty department so eventhough i root the device and i don`t know how to put it back to original state when have problem then i pass it to my friend and he settle for me XD.
