my blm hasany gadgets for 'saving' fc. got usb plug in power booster, mini power booster air leaker. also foing to install vs and grounding cable by eric. might change to light weight cam pulley. still makan minyak wor but pick up and feels lighter...can chase cars with old drivers.....also done to my kelisa. power is good. onlt way now to get more mileage is to ....

My car no have power booster at all..... or any air leaking stuff....
my previous experience, the highest pocket damage for servicing proton is just RM900++ but this time, due to tensioner bearing itself cost for RM395 does make me painful to the pocket

hi,sorry to hear ur nightmare. if u r not heavy footed,its always being service properly,then,its really bad. dunno whether this help or not. if u havent checked ur iafm unit,try get them checked,normally the unit is faulty causing high fc. if already checked n even just change to a new one,then need to check with padt the root cause n reset the ecu. sometimes also due to dirty throttle body.
im not saying that saga has excellent fc,but urs seem too bad

bro, many rhanks for your reply. yes, my iafm was replaced only weeks after i bought the car as the sc told me it was rosak. the first rm50 lasted 220km in 2008 and i wentumder the blm suspecting oil leak!!! lol.
yes, i will be resetting the ecu i wonder if i can do it diy, by taking off the battery negative amd put it back late ?? can some friends here help to explain how to do it otherwise. thanks alot pal.

Plotong ECU need Plotong Diagnotic Tool(PDT) to do full reset. Remove battery can only remove partial of the RAM, not the conventional memory. Your engine management will stay the same unless use PDT to do full reset. Please buy VIOS
I read up some place that 110km/hr is the efficient speed for FC for saga?
I accelerate damn slow liao...(everytime got those VIOS and myvi girls overtake me ) change at 2k-2.5k RPM, but get 12km/l, how to the hell did proton get 16.6km/litre in spec sheet! i was expecting i could get 15km/hr on my one ton car...
My bro heavier Hyudai Matrix 04 1.6 Manual , 1.3Ton, can get 13km/l...

i did ask my friend regarding saga pwr window rattling problem why it isnt solved yet coz still i heard on another forum talking saa pwrwindow rattling sound. he replied that he will get back to me later.
maybe due to workload n recently launch suprima,he mentioned that if its related to pwrwindow,it shud be change under waranty or those who r entitle for 10years, shud do that. he said most of the claim due to malfunction,rather rattling sound.
