never, and we never buy from steam. because u need to be in region to even buy it :3 and ur stuck to steam forever, which mean u can't buy other place and put in key. doesn't work that way for steam version.

So the SE account that I made is stuck on steam forever? I can't use my account on a standalone client from SE if I decide to buy it from their own store?

From what I've read, no...for me, i made AR steam acc...subcription buy in seagm...very risky tho..could get banned anytime if steam notices...

once u go steam, u can never go back, all expansion u need to buy in STEAM only.

I'm on Aether (NA DC), can't wait for Data Centre Travel so I can finally play with low ping and with people from the same timezone..

thou there restriction still for Travel, like how World Travel is xD

Total newb here, been playing on and off on Trial Acc for 2 year, only now feel like playing for real. Only been trying Black Mage and Summoner so far. Should I also skip other side-quest and only focus on Main Quest?

Faced the i2501 issue when trying to redeem the game code on Mogstation and almost refunded the game, but then I remember nowadays everything can be deployed on cloud, so managed to bypass it using that method.

make sure u also side focus "BLUE" quest, those are as important as Main Quest.

Just had to login to see what do you mean by BLUE quest.

Hey guys. I have a question. I'm currently a free trial user and I plan to transfer to full service. I noticed there is an option to add game key on mog station. Does it matter if I buy the game for NA/ EU/ JP? I was told that once I create an account, I have to buy the game that is the same region. Considering how I have not signed up for a subscription, does this matter? Will I lose all character progress if I buy the wrong region and have to create a new account?

Yes you need to buy according to the account you setup.. the first post still valid.. thou i have no idea how free trial works.

If you free trial from STEAM, you will need to buy from STEAM.

I was ex-Wow players so familiar that PC is more versatile in terms of chatting and what not.

How does playing using PS sounds?

EU for cheaper sub. you will need to do everything registration in PS, PSN also need to be EU if ur going EU. same with others.

you can plug in KB/M on PS to play like PC.
Controller also can no problem

Endwalker will release on PS4 still.

FFXIV controller scheme is so good and customizable that ppl can do the highest hardest content with controller.
