oh yeah for me i will.. what is the point having a waterproof phone anyway if you did not utilize it?

one of my occasional activity is camping.. it will be beneficial there too.. imagine its raining heavily at night, you are in a tiny camp, water is everywhere.. while other keep their phone safely in a waterproof bag, i can use it to watch movie yo.

20.7mp for 4:3 format. dSLR use 3:2 format. Olympus use 4:3 format.

So just shoot 20.7mp for 4:3 format lor. Its camera format.

16:9 is tv/pc lcd display format.

want to ask...my ZL when want to take pic in video mode, it will only take 1mp photo !....

how about Z1... 1.1mp? i hope it is not! at least gv me 5 la..

i guess u never go camping?.. watching movie is the most social activity at night especialy when is rainy, you can't do anything, so you may gather with others in a camp and watch movie.

ya ya ya.... u r right le.... how old r u by the way.... during my teenage camping time there is no such tablet / phone that can watch movie ..... miss the old time... what we can do that time was only tell ghost story + watch star + play poker. during raining habis.....

20.7MP is under 4:3 ratio, which means the closer is 15.3MP for 16:9 ratio.

Just not sure why Sony set it such low as 8.3MP only.

Oh, then Sony really need to up their ante. Cannot let Nokia win by such huge margin (eventhough Nokia is dead already )

Actually our time is more fun, nowadays any activity also seen people play phone/tablet, it really unhealthy as it dismiss the main purpose of it.

i'm not that old. hehe.. before tablet and smartphone, i bring small laptop.. but depends on camping condition la.. since 2011 i always have smartphone or tablet standby when i go outdoor activity.. there are times when you are nowhere in the jungle or very remote area, you will appreciate the sweetness of mobile technology.

Yep! Sony is using nearly half the resolution capable under 16:9.... speechless...

Personally I like to shoot in 4:3 format (in my Olympus PEN) and also 3:2 (in DLSR). Never bother to shoot in 16:9

Reason being is more pixels in those format compare with 16:9

unless im recording video, i prefer using 4:3 as well.

Just use crop tool from playstore to get ur 16:9 ratio. Extra work, but u'll be able to get the aspect ratio u like then.

I believe square photo 1:1 aspect ratio are more popular now (thx to instagram which I hardly use)

Sony can't satisfy everyone needs.

I cant pick between a Lumia 1020 and Z1.

I love the Z1 design.. but Lumia photo is pretty bad @ss
