According to my Aunty that just came back from genting and her gossip gossip, apparently it was a very new inexperienced bus driver and majority of the passengers were employees of genting. Not sure true or not.

Not everyone drive MT. Plus, he should know when his brakes is hot, it fades! Still need to wait for smoke?

Plus, one should not feather the brakes and hold it while cornering. Slow down before cornering, and go neutral or accelerate a little while cornering to keep the momentum.

hazard signal on heavy rain only used by idiots driver

Genius, the double/hazard signal in this situation to inform what and where u going. Drivers are good enough to keep u aware of them. Lower your ego, accept their efforts and be rational.

the use of hazard lights (aka double signal) when moving is dangerous and unethical. that hazard light was supposed for vehicles that are stationary.
*
it does help in some way.. sometimes it's really that bad that u can't see a moving vehicle.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun...

Only last midnite I watched a rerun drama on teeveeteega, the bus also crashed down the cliff at genting highland  shocking.gif

Anybody else watched it? Pusara di Lebuhraya.

Btw the theme park in Genting closed down already or not? Heard they will close permanently and build another park or something.
*
will be closed from 1st sept ... in collaboration with 20th century fox to rebuild the theme park. expected to launch in 2016

Ya nothing wrong with hazard light while moving. When it rains heavily some of cars tail lights are not bright enough so blinking signal lights tells the other driver the position and distance of the car.

Actually, if visibility is very bad and you are afraid that other drivers cannot see you, you are suppose to use your left signal light if you are on the slow and middle lane (not applicable in Genting road), right signal if you are on the fast lane. Double signal is only to be use when your vehicle is stop.

I think its in the undang text book unless they change it.

double/hazard signal is for stationary vehicle only lar.... with no visibility, u can hardly know the blinking light is moving or not when it move slowly... dun confuse other driver when it's a hazardous weather...
