I am NOT using any dock... even though it seems like a dock... lol

The in Samurize, I just put those meters, links, etc ON THE BACKGROUND (using object such as TEXT's box):


It as simple as that So the concept is that, I just graphicial everything in Photoshop...

im kinda new to samurize..
i did some config, but later i found out the client causes my idle cpu usage to increase within range 11-15% sometimes up to 20% .. when i close the client, my cpu usage drop to 0-5% .. is that normal or something is wrong with my config?

i wanna ask is samurize able to support .gif image?? i means the animation...

yeah can!!! just need to change the refresh rate oni!

but the problem is if i set the refresh time too low my processor load time will refresh too fast, any idea??

and is it possible to make it display the graphic card temperature and clock?? coz i cant find anythings related to graphic card....

hi,

in order to control foobar2000 using samurize you will need AMPI(Advanced Media Player Info)plugin. it looks complicated to setup at first but once you get used to it you will find it pretty simple. you can refer to my personal samurize config called 'foosbar' which i made to control foobar on my Windows to see the basic stuff such as display artist and track name. However, i use another plugin 'AudioPlayer' to control my foobar2000.

you can see the screenshot of my desktop here.

by the way, your fancy stuff are taking quite amount of resources (50%) there. Won't your games that also require high memory usage like Call of Duty 4 suffer lag?

after the trial and error and refer to another config by samurize, i manage to set the control for ply, stop, pause, next and prev, but i cant make the album, track name, and track time, the time plyed and so on.....

which resources did u mean?? RAM or processor load?? RAM is like that one, i take that screenshot that time is becoz i on many other program, but when i login to my window already like this, 40% of the RAM hv already been eat away but i still dont know wat's the problem, even without samurize, plying game hv a bit lag, not to mention i'm not using good graphic card, just a 7300GS.....

Animations on Samurize interface cause alot of problem due to short refresh rate. Eventually it wil eat up to 20% of your CPU.

If you don't want to use any default dektop icon (will say why later), you can put those animation images as a desktop web objects instead (under Desktop Properties). But doing so will cause desktop icon lost it's ability to use 'icon shadow' instead of the default 'icon box'.

Be creative of how to use the web objects together with Samurize and you'll get your desktop blig around

Or course, with web objects you also can place a movie, song whatever on your desktop that whatever a webpage can run...

i'm not the type of creative lar, my creativity r sucks!!! and i wanna remove the .gif animation soon coz it is eating my processor load....

now i know how to set samurize to display track name, i use the AMPI, and set it to gettrackname but when i press the test function and even reload the samurize, it didnt display any song name help!!!! my head wanna explode already.......

My current Samurize eat me 10% of CPU... sometime it gone unstable... and also it might clash with certain games like Stalker (keep flashing to desktop)...

y his config so strange one?? his ply pause stop next button r not same as mine, he add text as shortcut and the play icon as background pic, i hv try to learn from his player control, but it still doesnt work, and it still cant display the song name and artist and other things properly, i can only press ply stop next previous and so on only!!!!!! i need help ASAP!!!!! even i click the right click > media > add foobar then the plugin comes out but it say no song playing!!!! but actually my foobar is plying songs..... my foobar version is v0.9.5 any problem????

i add text as shortcut because with that way only i can link meter to control player (next,previous,stop,play), the icon is to act like a button which seems like i click on that icon to control player, but actually, it is the text that does the trick.

right click>media>foobar2000 will not work, im not sure what is the problem, but it doesnt work. also note that i am using AudioPlayer.dll plugin to control my player to play,stop,next,previous.

if your install foobar2000 after installing samurize, then the AMPI will not work, you have to reinstall Samurize to get it working.

you are welcome, that bloody bugs pissed me off when i started to learn samurize as well.

it is still very hard for me even though i know how to make some of the basic config and meter, sometimes when u force urself to do it when u're not in the mood, will might cause u headache think until ur brain gt exploded u also cant think about wat to do.....
