can anyone teach me how to use more than 1 config for samurize? eg; 1 to display CPU, RAM, etc and the other one to display Media Info..

i'm such a noob (lol, 16 years old only) ... ^^; i just figured out that you need to create new instances to allow multiple configs to be used at a time... editing the configs is quite confusing for me.. i'll try to edit the configs.. fit everything into 1 config.. if something goes wrong, i'll seek help here..

anyone knows why my VLC player doesn't show any video when Samurize is enabled? I've tried using WMP to play the vid.. no problem at all... but with WMC... same problem as VLC... it's not the config problem.. because I've tried many other configs... and all the configs make my VLC siaw... really need help here..

create multiple instances if you want to display multiple configs together.
erm, just drag the configs and lock it at the position where you want it to be.

just a normal text meter would do. or you can use your selfmade icon too.
to do that, you'll need to add a plugin, then change the draw type to "image".
next, browse for your icon and finally create a meter linkage to your file/folder.

happy Samurizing.

make sure your song is properly tagged. and remove any embeded album art from your songs. to make sure you get the correct album art, it is better that you find the album art yourself, then put it your song folder. the config will read any images from the folder and display it.

go to input>add input>meter linkage.

hmm, try to change the CPU priority for your config.

edit config>project options>CPU priority

change it to Low or Idle. i'm running my configs under Low CPU priority. to save CPU resource and to prevent lag. no choice, but i'm still running on P4 1.7ghz with 768 RAM. that's why have to use the lowest settings.

hmm, try to recreate the config from scratch. use my config as a sample to guide you. maybe that would help. by the way, does the volume slider has an indicator? the volume knob i mean.

hmm, with your specs the lag should be barely noticable. even with my old rig the lag isn't that obvious. only sometimes when alot of apps are running, especially photoshop. yeah, probably the refresh time affects it a bit. oh yea, try to use minimal plugins in your configs. don't bloat your config with too many plugins. that will sure cause your system to experience sudden high CPU usage.
hopefully you won't quit Samurize just because of this few minor issues.
